I wish these young candidates can just come together. What's so difficult there. Let everyone drop their pride and forge a coalition for a better Nigeria for us all. |
post=74064496:Is this a propaganda to you? |
Hmmm... Buhari. |
Figoinc:Tell them! So they can stop making noise. |

FELA DIDN'T START NATION BUILDING TODAY Nine years ago, exactly today, 12th December, 2009, @feladurotoye mobilised over 2,000 volunteers to paint 296 houses across 7 streets of the Mushin suburb of Lagos, AT NO CHARGE to the owners and residents of the buildings. The effort was seen as one of the largest community development projects with no government funding but was accomplished through individual donations and corporate sponsorships as well as the endorsement and physical involvement of many of the nation’s celebrities (Music stars and Nollywood actors), entrepreneurs, professionals, law-makers, students as well as the notorious ‘area boys’, all of who collaborated in an unprecedented way to bring about community transformation. In the course of the Mushin Makeover project, over 100 unemployed youths were trained by Berger Paints PLC in ‘The Art & Technique of Painting’. Today, they have become vibrant painters and are able to earn a living as a result of the Mushin Makeover project. He did all these at a time he had no intentions whatsoever to run for any political office in Nigeria. There’s nothing greater than making a difference in the lives of the people around you and Fela Durotoye is addicted to this habit—it has become his lifestyle. This is someone who was not, is not, and will never be a politician yet he did what many of our "very experienced" politicians could not do, are not doing and will never do. You would agree with me that power amplifies who a man is, so it's only natural to infer that if Fela Durotoye could do so much with so little as an ordinary citizen then we can only imagine the transformation that will take place when he occupies the office of the President with full access to much more financial and human resources. Vote Fela Durotoye for Opportunities for all. Vote for a New Nigeria where the son of a nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody. Vote the Lion! Vote ANN!

Optional09:Oh please! Let's hear something better. Fela Durotoye and every presidential candidates have earned their place in the debate. And who said Sowore is more respected than Fela Durotoye? Find something else to talk about and stop blabbing. |
Over the last few hours we have read stories published on a certain AgoraTVNews and also a publication on Nairaland and some other blogs about the signature of Mr. Sahid Umar being forged by the leadership of Alliance for New Nigeria on the certificate issued to Mr. Fela Durotoye, the party’s Presidential Candidate, and we would like to correct the fake news and wrong assertions in these reports. The signature on the certificate were those of the National Chairman of Alliance for New Nigeria, Mr Emmanuel Dania and the Deputy National Secretary, Mr Osita Okonkwo who has been acting in the capacity of the National Secretary since the absence and deliberate non-availability of Mr. Sahid Umar who has been fingered as one of those deliberately dividing the party and working against the party’s ideologies and core principles. It will be noteworthy to establish that the party is not an individual and also the positions in all the arms of the party are not the individuals occupying those positions. Therefore, in the absence of Mr. Umar, Mr Osita has substantively been mandated by the Chairman and the BoT to continue to carry on matters relating to the secretariat of the party and such matters involving relating with the Independent National Electoral Commission and have thus far delivered effectively on this mandate. To this end, it will suffice to say that Mr. Osita is the Acting National Secretary of Alliance for New Nigeria has expected and enshrined in the provisions of the party’s constitution for the Deputy National Secretary to act in the absence of the National Secretary and to execute tasks assigned to his office by the National Secretary and the National Working Committee. We therefore wish to call on the publishers of these news items to be conscious of the professional ethics guiding their journalistic profession and to ensure that they publish the truth at all times and nothing but the truth. Signed: Mr. Emmanuel Dania National Chairman Alliance for New Nigeria |
The attention of the National Working Committee of Alliance for New Nigeria under the leadership of Mr. Emmanuel Dania has been drawn to a news report in tribuneonline.ng about ANN entering into a strategic alliance with some other political parties through the facilitation of Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim who has been parading himself as the elected candidate of ANN and as so entered into this alliance. As a party that believe in the principle of Transparency, Integrity and Excellence, we wish to use this medium to reiterate the following: 1. That the party Alliance for New Nigeria has only one Presidential Candidate produced during the party’s Presidential Primary and Special Convention held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 where Mr. Fela Durotoye emerged and have been duly returned and filed with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). 2. That the Alliance for New Nigeria has not entered into any strategic alliance with People’s Trust (PT) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with the intention to form a new party Alliance for People’s Trust and whoever has engaged in any discussion of this sort has done so on his own volition and without due process, approval and consent of the Board of Trustees of the Party and also its National Executive Committee. 3. That Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim was an aspirant on the platform of ANN until September 28, 2018 when he formally withdrew his participation in the party’s presidential primary that held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 and produced Mr. Fela Durotoye as its Presidential Candidate and Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim cannot continue to parade himself as the Presidential candidate of ANN and creating needless confusion. 4. That Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim equally issued press statements to the media and also published same on his Facebook page announcing his withdrawal from the primary and thus cannot be the candidate of the same party he has withdrawn from. Although he has joined forces with the former interim National Chairman of the party and have organised an illegal primary and included names of members of the BoT of ANN and founding members of the party in their claim of an expanded BoT but all of these illegalities have been refuted and disclaimed severally in the media. 5. That INEC and the Nigerian Police have been duly informed of the nefarious activities of Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim and Dr. Jay Osi Samuels which are obviously directed at causing a breakdown of public peace and causing rancour in the party and would wish to call the attention of the Inspector General of Public to these developments such that it can be nipped in the bud. 6. That both Mr. Olawepo-Hashim and Dr. Jay Osi Samuels have the freedom of association as granted them by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and can exercise this right by associating with whoever they so deem fit but should do so without involving or dragging the name of ANN into their association or alliance. 7. That only persons or group of persons mandated by the duly constituted Board of Trustees of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) can engage with anyone or group of individuals or parties on behalf of the party to pursue any of such alliance and association and where any one is under any guise engaging in any discussion of this kind, the party by the protection of the law can press charges for damages and for impersonating the party leadership. 8. That ANN would wish to advise that anyone that wish to proceed with any discussion as they deem fit should do so without involving ANN and be so advised of the repercussions of their action. Signed: Mr. Emmanuel Dania National Chairman Alliance for New Nigeria |
xtervaganza:Be careful with your words bro. Fela Durotoye is not a crook and definitely not a criminal. Fela Durotoye is a man of integrity and deserves respect irrespective of the propagandas going around to rubbish him. He is the man to deliver the New Nigeria. |
mechanics:Whether this list came out or not or whether Fela Durotoye made this list or not, truth is this man is a man of integrity and transparency. Nigeria is not used to what this man is bringing on board so they will definitely fight it so it doesn't see the light of day. |
BackToLife:Very well said brother. Fela Durotoye is the man on whose shoulder the New Nigeria rests. |
![]() Whoever is behind this character assassination, God will definitely judge the person. You guys think you can just write anything you feel like all in the name of politics. Don't forget that every action is a seed and as surely as you have sown, you must reap. Fela Durotoye will never be involved in forgery for any reason and the world knows better.

JayCynic:Very true. |
Awesome! Congratulations sir on making this list. I can't see any of those trying to soil your name in the mud on the list. How come? This is how you will continue to shut the mouth of naysayers forever. The truth never hides. It always wins and so will you. |
cbrass:Very well said bro. Forget the naysayers. ANN's storm will calm and Fela Durotoye will stand firm and tall. The truth never goes into hiding. |
bilms:People like us can never belong to groups where people like you belong. What communion hath light with darkness? Continue, soon your mouth will be filled with gravel. |
bilms: ![]() How can traitors expel traitors? |
Fela Durotoye, the ANN Presidential candidate with the chairman of ANN and members of the Board of Trustees.
|
bilms:How much did they pay you to write all these nonsense? How long will the money last? It's youths like you that join forces with all these old thieves to destroy our nation further. Tomorrow you will start complaining about the same country, yet you are helping to destroy it. I pity you. |
