1. Your tithe and offering belongs to the church where you worship.

2. Give tithe and offering as an act of obedience to God, not focusing on returns from it.

3. Give it willingly without feeling compelled.

4. Trusting God, expect the blessing He promised.

sounds like a bribe

South Africa's economy is the second biggest in sub-Saharan Africa, so SA should be omitted. The issue you are having is akin to those who praise the infrastructure in Akwa Ibom and say because of that, she is better than Lagos. However, the unemployment rate in Akwa Ibom is more than four times that of Lagos. That is how Nigeria is to Namibia.

why should SA be omitted, their whites makes up majority of the wealthy class. infrastructure aside what is the unemployment rate in Nigeria compared to Namibia, it is almost doubled. You haven't given me a reason why you feel Nigeria is better, especially for the common man.

Omo I hope so , cause the only amount in the sponsors account is all for POF & tuition fees and when taken out and put into a GIC the sponsors account balance won't be up to a million, just trying to understand if a sponsor account balance like 500k after sponsoring is a red flag

you wont need to submit the sponsor's account if you are using GIC

Please read up about Namibia. It seems you have not done your research about it. I have and even asked them questions on forums. Theirs is even worse as the people with money are whites and increasingly Chinese. The average Namibian who is not connected has fewer economic opportunities than a Nigerian.
I have been there and you need to check stats.
Same thing can be said about south African and Botswana.

Just tell me why you think Nigeria the poverty capital of the world is better than a working Namibia country?
I have been to Namibia have you? Why not just use Google and compare both counties.

See, I am one of the persons that has lampooned Nigeria on Nairaland countless times. But when it comes to cold hard facts with numbers, only South Africa can be compared to Nigeria economically. Namibia is a good place to live a safe and quiet life, not to make money. Most migrants are economic in nature, not leisure. There are literally no menial jobs to do there because the locals have not see them. There are Cameroonians working in factories in Japan earning close to 5K dollars equivalent per month, something most Cameroonians cannot get.

Why are we always looking for jobs in another Man's country .
Our unemployment rate is higher than Namibia. They might not be extremely rich like the 5% of Nigeria but majority aren't living in poverty like we are in Nigeria.
Tell me how Nigeria is better?

Dude no one hates Nigeria more than I do but there's data and data doesn't care about feelings. When I newly got into tech I was always on job sites and Nigeria and south Africa are the only countries in Africa with job openings. This isn't even related to tech. I am talking about the general job market. I am posting all the number of jobs from LinkedIn from both Namibia and Nigeria under this post.

So this is your so called data. Have you been to Namibia before? I was there 2014 for a month, and it doesn't look like an African country one bit.
My elder bro is a lecture at the uni of Namibia.
Botswana and Mauritius is another beautiful country.
Because they didn't give you job doesn't mean their isn't job for their citizens.

I posted verifiable data. Namibia has a higher youth unemployment rate than Nigeria.

Unemployment rate in Nigeria is 37 % + while Namibia is about 23%.

Youth unemployment in Nigeria is about 53% while Namibia has about 40%.

If Namibia youths are go getters/hustlers like Nigerian youths their numbers won't be that high.

Nigeria better pass Namibia. Job no dey that country. I no consider those north African countries as African nations na. I have been to Morocco and everything about it felt and looked European down to the most basic Infrastructure. When I talk Africa, na black man countries for Africa I dey talk.

Jobs for Locals or foreigners? they have jobs, our unemployment rate is way above theirs.
There is a no way Nigeria is better than Namibia.. they have good roads, extremely clean cities, cheaper food, a stronger currency and passport.

Please can you provide details on how to open CIBC account? I learnt it is only possible if you are a registered student in Canada? What is GIC please

you can follow the instructions here https://www.businesscompilerng.com/2022/01/how-to-open-canadian-imperial-bank-of.html#:~:text=You
as long as you have your admission letter you can open a CIBC account
GIC is Guaranteed Investment Certificate, similar to our fixed deposit, but in this case, a certain amount will be given to you monthly for a period of time, depending on what you initially deposited in the CIBC account

Good day

I am about to start my application and these are my problems

Basic: Going for a 1 year Diploma because I never went to University. Just some professional cosmetics training

1. I am 26 years old single lady
2. I own an unregistered cosmetic store and my account balance is less than N800,000
3. My sponsor is not related to me at all
4. He wants to transfer my tuition and living expenses to me but he said he can't give me documents that relates to him
5. Sponsor is not ready to say anything about his source of funds or anything like that
6. Sponsor said he can only give me gift deeds of 10m. He won't give me his statement of account or provide any details pertaining to him.
6. I don't have another option

Questions

1. How do I proof the source of my 800k since my business is not registered and I use my personal account for payments
2. Will just my sponsor's gift deed suffice?

3. There's nothing in my bank statement. Because people send me money small small. Like 10k 50k 100k. So nothing is there if I submit 4 or 6 months bank statement.

4. My admission is for September. I've paid 1000 CAD advance tuition. And what's left in my account is about 800k

5. I am just tired. Poor man's child is so frustrated.

What can I do?

I will advise you use a GIC to be on the safe side, you wont need to comprehensively explain the source of income. open a domiciliary account and a CIBC account in Canada. Transfer the fund from your dom account to the CIBC account.
Time is ur worst enemy here, September is almost here

Thanks alot ...But
My question is ,
I have paid for the acceptance fees, and already prepared to submit application for visa for September class , Meanwhile, I will like to defer the program to January class, the question is ...should I get the visa before deferring or defer before submitting for VIsa ??

Either ways works provided you have time on ur side, but if you defer after Visa you might need to inform IRCC, I deferred while waiting for Visa.

Hello my Friends,
Please I got Admission to Mohawk college for PGD in Ontario. I have received acceptance letter after I paid the Deposit tuition fee of $2,200 CAD

But I can no longer go for the program due to circumstances beyond my control.

So can I defer the admission to another session while still in Nigeria??

Or I need to apply for Visa , if gotten ,I can then Defer to next year when I will be ready??

if you haven't applied for visa, just defer and once you the school confirms your new admission you can apply.

Please, how did you go about it. Can you kindly provide me with the steps you took. Thank you

Go to your bank, tell them you want a domiciliary account (is a headache finding 2 people to fill the reference forms)
Then you goto aboki and change ur naira to dollars, then deposit it in ur dorm account.

Lastly give the instruction sheet from CIBC to a customer rep in the bank to help you make the transfer to your Canadian bank account ( I tried zenith and they had network issues so I moved to wema, I was able to transfer it after 3 trials).
All the best

It looks like for almost one week now, visa officers haven't approved any application. I'm no longer seeing PPR alerts ๐Ÿคฆ

I also want to ask:
If someone did upfront medicals before submitting application and after some weeks, received medical request on his portal... Is it possible that he/she can pass the medicals and still be refused visa?

This is me trying to give myself hope๐Ÿ˜ญ

it is highly unlikely they refuse your visa. but is it still possible

Hello,
I got admission into Conestoga for Sept 2023. I've registered with CIBC bank for GIC purpose and I've been sent instruction for transferring the money to them.
Please, how do I make this transfer because the deadline for this transfer is next week Monday. Also, I don't have a dollar account. Please what do I do?

Thanks in advance.

can you open a dollar account? Its better when the money comes from your account to CIBC bank. The deadline doesn't really matter I missed 3 transfer deadlines before I finally sent the money.

Family / Re: Help! My Sister In-law Is Seducing Me by miketayo(m): 3:29pm On Apr 12, 2023
nicej2:
Dear Nairalanders, i am not really good posting my issues online. But this time i need your advise.

I have been married for 9 years now and my sister inlaw has been living with us( I, my wife and the kids) for the past 6 years now, although I am not always around.
I have never imagine any negative thoughts toward her. I always see her like my younger sister, i have been taken care of her. She is 28 years old and I can't really says if she have a boyfriend cos I haven't see one around her. She is a boss in her working place but yet i foots all her bills in the house without bothering anyone, including my wife that is also a boss .Until of recent she started wearing seductive clothes around the house, Some how i started developing feelings for her As if she knows, she continues wearing those clothes and started showing more caring towards me.
I can't believed that i am having feelings for my sister inlaw cos i am a disciplined man to the core. Even during university days girls do come to my apartment passed a night without molesting them. I am well brought up. But is like that disciplined man in me started degenerating as i began to see this girl in my dreams.
There was a night i returned from travelled, i started feeling the urge to go to her room. My wife almost cought me that night cos we lives in 3 bedroom, I have my own room, my wife have her own and my sister inlaw have her own room. So we sleep in separate rooms except some occasions my wife decided to stay in my room. That night i was pimping through her door. I have been trying to control my feelings and I believed the reason why I have not sleep with her is because i am not always around and I also the fear of traditions implications of sleeping with sister inlaw . And my wife is not helping matters, she can leave both of us alone in d house and go to all night church program and the children will be sleeping.

I don't really know what to do. Should I tell my wife so that we can get her accommodation or just let the sleeping dog be. Though I don't really want her to leave cos is my wife and the children are alone in the compound. I just want to kill that urge before I return from travel.

Sorry for the long episode ..๐Ÿ˜€

Unless she tells you verbatim "I want you" she isn't seducing you, na you get long throat.
If your younger sister wears what she is wearing will you feel the same urge.
Carry ur eyes comot if you really see her as a sis.
I don't understand the part " you have ur room and ur wife has another room" doesn't make sense ๐Ÿ˜•
