Walspring: The brt will drop him or her after leventis which is the last bus stop and (s)he can take a bus going to VI or eko hotel and drop at check point bus stop and cross to the other side of the road and enter the car park and find his or her way into the embassy
But the disadvantage is that (s)he might get late for the interview because most brt operation commence by 6am yeah exactly I thought of that also, the best bet is to get there the day before and get an hotel around there. Possibly around Obalende. |

someonehelp: I ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO GET TO OBANLENDE BUS TERMINAL. Hey bro, instead of going to Obalende bus terminal why don't you go to berger brt terminal. From there take brt going to cms. When you reach cms take a bus straight to the bus stop, can't recall remember the name though but from cms bus stop you can tell the driver you're going to Walter carringhton US embassy, its not too far. When they drop you at the bus stop just cross the road then trek down you would see the gate and so many people around the gate |

bigfrancis21: SEVIS fee here in the US is not paid at a bank, but rather at any western union shop. Before your aunt goes to WU, you would first have to fill out the payment coupon online at http://www.fmjfee.com and email it to her. She should take that payment coupon along with her to WU and make a payment of $200. WU charges an extra $10.50 for this transaction, making a total of $210.50. You should go back online at http://www.fmjfee.com to check your payment status. Your payment should reflect in less than 48 hours.
Another option for your aunt is to buy a money order (a money order is like a cheque. It is simply a paper equivalent of a cash amount) and mail it together with the coupon which you'll send to her to SEVP. The money order can be bought at WU and the mail takes about 3 days to be delivered at the SEVIS office (SEVP). The address to send it to will be indicated on the coupon you'll send to her. If using this method, expect your payment to reflect online in about 5 business days from the day it was sent.
Those are basically the 2 ways to make the SEVIS fee payment in the US for a candidate from Nigeria. It cannot be made online as it is for some countries. Thanks bro, I understand perfectly now. I should go with the first option, its faster |

Biodun37: The fact that people like you only reason along this line the moment your man GEJ lost re-election bid shows sentiment towards ethnic line. Anyway, I'm not surprised since Bh uprising also gain momentum after the failed bid to return power back to the north, but I know Biafra will not succeed just as Bh.
However, I'm not really bothered about possibility of breaking this present amalgamation as the suffering will only be temporary for all the new nations (including the agitators) if the leaders are focused on economic development (orun n yaabo ni, ko yo enikan sile meaning 'if heaven falls, no one will escape its wrath).
I'm for one Nigeria, none of these mushroom countries even in Europe has really made meaningful impact on the life of people who actually fourth for it as they only created more wealthy, rich and affuence families in the midst of suffering people.
Igbo youth, be wise!!! In summary you have said nothing, if Igbos are to be wise, are you then encouraging the segregation of the Igbo people from Nigeria |

biikeys: Location shouldn't be a deterrent here. You can find very good schools in virtually every state. Some areas might not be as popular or even lively in terms of social life, but considering the fact that you're going to be studying..that might be a good thing.
Look for schools that fit your profile and have offer some form of financial aid..go from there! yeah, that was my thought also while choosing a school. Thanks bro |

Isjaymoh: Good day house Please, someone should help me with a school name and their website that a Nigeria ssce graduate can apply for. Actually the person is a commercial student with a good ssce result. And I also want to know if schools in the United States accept NECO?
Thanks I doubt if NECO is accepted, infact am sure sef, it is not accepted. For school name and website, am sure it's for undergraduate studies. I based my search on the course of study and the sat scores through google . as it stands now there are more than 4000+ universities for undergraduate students. So using your purposed course of study, sat scores and also the scholarship opportunities in each school, should be a good filter. |

Also what do you guys think is the best time to deadline for booking of the interview for someone who anticipates going January 7. Thanks all |

Hmmmm atlast have reached page 112 *had to skip some pages sha b4 i die* my eyes are already bulging. First and foremost i want to greet everyone from Justwise to slimmy05, imperiouxx, bigfrancis21, darklight, and so many others i cant remember their names at this time. To be honest this thread has really helped me immensely, although am now in the visa interview part which i plan doing next month. I appreciate the transcripts of so many peopel like DanjaNinja which was the most entertaining of them all. I noticed nobody has really talked about universities in Arkansas. I hope they are ok, i actually want to study an Engineering course as an undergraduate student. Is there any bad reputation in these universities. Thanks once again for the usual cooperation amongst us. |
