Romance / Re: Miss Nairaland Contest 2015 - Contest Rules by Milaby(f): 10:11pm On May 17, 2015
Dygeasy:
Hello everyone.

The organisers of the Miss Nairaland 2015 Contests have deemed it fit at this point in time, to familiarize us all with the rules of the upcoming contest.

- Demeaning and insulting remarks to the contestants shall not be tolerated. Demeaning the contests shall not be tolerated. Insulting the organizers shall not be tolerated. Insulting the mods shall not be tolerated. Constituting yourself a nuisance on the contest threads shall not be tolerated. Defaulters would be banned for the duration of the contests, without the option of a parole. Pls, your full co-operation in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

- NLJega is the official Nairaland umpire for the contests. This account shall be solely responsible for counting of votes officially during the contests.

- When voting, pls endeavor to tag NLJega at the end of your vote. i.e "cc NLJega". ( I vote for Aipete2, Vickydera2 , milaby. Cc NLJega)

- Any vote not tagged with "NLJega" will be counted as invalid. You may ask why. Why is because, when you "cc NLJega" NLJega gets a mention, and it's easier to collate the votes from the thousands of posts that'll be made during the contests. You'll all agree that it really gets boisterous during the contests. A page could be full of chitchats and no votes at all and it'll be very tedious to sift through gazillions of posts. We also do not want to stifle the fun, by asking the mods to hide campaign posts during the contests. Your full cooperation is required in this regard, and would be greatly appreciated.

- Votes from accounts registered after the 6th of April would be counted as invalid. A lot of people might have wanted to create multiple monikers for multiple voting, but we are sorry to burst their bubbles.

- Votes from accounts created before the 6th of April 2015 and with less than 100 posts on Nairaland since creation would also be counted as invalid. They are not active enough and we are trying to minimize completely, the participation of alternate accounts.

- Each contestant should pls appoint a representative from her campaign team to count her votes as the contests progresses. This is for transparency purposes. The representatives can either follow the thread from get go, or, choose to search the name "NLJega" and then count their candidates votes from there.

- No campaigning on any other thread on Nairaland once the contests kick off. Campaign would only be restricted to the thread in question, your signatures, and your profiles. Any member caught not adhering, shall be placed on a ban till the contests are over. This is to ensure decorum at all times. We are not going to penalize the contestants or deduct votes from them as they may not be aware of everything that goes on that day. Therefore, overzealous campaigners have been warned. Ignorance is no excuse.

- Remember that votes would be subtracted and depending on the enormity of the offence, the contestant risk outright disqualification if at any point during the course of the competition, it is discovered that a CONTESTANT derogates, insults or bullies another contestant.

- Members/Audience/Voters should please endeavour to cast their votes in one post and at once too because votes would start getting counted from the get go and to ensure votes accuracy and timely announcement of results, we implore you not to make unnecessary modifications. This will reduce spamming of the thread and the forum at large with votes soliciting and even If you CC the official umpire "NLJega" after a modification, your vote MAY NOT be counted.

Thanks for your usual cooperation.

WE ARE READY FOR THE MISS NAIRALAND 2015 CONTEST, ARE YOU?
Thanks... Ready

Also, what do you think it's the way forward for naira revaluation.
The introduction of the card reader made it transparent .

your second question is out of my reasoning for now

So you don't see anything wrong in child marriage. Interesting!

Milaby...

what do you think about female child marriage in the north, looking at it from a cultural and religious angle?

What is the one thing that people complement about you the most?

"Beauty properly so called, has nothing to do with brains", what do you think about this statement?
in religious aspect of female child marriage it lessen the rate of irresponsibility, then from the cultural perspective every tradition and family norms has its/their own specific reasons for child marriage

My personality

beauty has everything to do with brains. U COME FINE FINISH AND YOU B MUMU...Lmao (
on my silly
mood)

Milaby,

What's your favourite social media website and why do you fancy it?.

Do you think you'll ever consider to become a civil right activist?. If yes/no, state why.

I presume you're from the northern region. A lot of young women in the north are out of school even though education is free in most part of the northern enclave. Let's say you were given a mandate to create awareness about the importance of girl-child education how would you tackle it?.
my favourite social media is whatsapp, just love it cox its quick nd easy in terms of sending and receiving message.

yes... cox i believe this is a democratic count
ry and evrybody has the right to freedom of expression which should not be withheld if otherwise Necessary legal measures should be taken

yes, i will start by creating awareness and bringing them togeda to enlighten them on the benefits of education and the demerits of illiteracy in our country today so as to perpetrate their mindset for the urge to learning. sorry network is so bad

well in Nigeria we've got so many problems like terrorism, corruption... Etc I would choose to tackle corruption cox that's where our problem lies in Nigeria. Corruption breaksdown the economic of a country.

I also believe that Jesus, the Creator of the Universe(also called The Way), created herbs and fruits for humans
on earth for several purposes;to nourish, replenish and heal the human system and also, showed her the way to cure her ailment.

Soon,a drug will be invented from Carrot to heal that kind of ailment which will fetch the inventor mega bucks.
Talk about 'treasures in hidden places'.

seriously If jesus is the creator of universe den wat did God almight did? Who created jesus?? Stop saying wat u dont knw.
