It all started on the 10th of sept when I went for my 38 weeks appointment I was 38+1 my OB did a cervical check and said I was 2-3cm dilated and I asked for for membrane sweep which I did with my first son and it worked but after 5 days was expecting this one to be the same, after the sweep I didn’t feel anything so I thought it won’t work so got home did the usual then thought of dancing and doing the labor activating exercise on YouTube but got tired after few moves but did more later.
At around 6pm I started feeling tightening but was very mild which I started losing my mucus plug(bloody show) as well I went to bed and woke up at night to more tightening but we’re not consistent so went back to sleep, by morning on the 11th they became strong and time-able by 2 pm they became stronger ranging between 4-5 minutes apart but I couldn’t go to the hospital because we were waiting for my friend to come watch my son which she will be off work by 6pm I waited for that long by this time contractions were 2 minutes apart when she finally arrived at 6:30pm. So we got to the hospital at 7pm got checked again and was 4cm and my water leaking so got admitted, at 8pm I was checked again and was 5cm my water broke like 5 minutes later came to know baby boy pass meconium, after my water broke my God the pain was so much I almost got the epidural but my amazing nurse and hubby encouraged me that I could do it because I told them I really really want to have him naturally.
By 9:30pm I was at 7cm and by 10pm I was at a 10cm and felt the urge to push, pushed 3 times and out he came at 10:05pm screaming... He weigh 6lbs 5oz and was perfect Alhamdulillah... We get to go home the next day 12th sept

Mamas in the house that have experience with circumcision, pls help! My prince charming got circumcised yesterday, he's always crying. Some drugs were prescribed along side penicillin. Pls any other thing to make it heal on time? Abeg make una no waka pass o.

With my son I was given Tylenol (pain reliever) and Vaseline like lots of Vaseline to rub on it

Not really I just had the normal early pregnancy cramps

pls mamas, has anyone experienced this before?...this is my second pregnancy,I started bleeding from 11th week..my doctor placed me on 6 doses of progesterone injection with other drugs and also placed on bed rest....after the treatment,scan was done and baby is ok...
Now am 14weeks 6days and bleeding still continued like 2days off 1 day on... doctor said I should just be on bed rest and that I have been doing but it has not stopped.
I have gone for scan on my own and baby is ok but I have a posterior lowlying placenta ...the Sonographer said that is the cause of bleeding but my mind still not at rest..

Yes experinced this with this pregnancy had bleeding/spotting from the first day of postive pregnancy test to around 14 weeks, my doctor couldn’t tell where it’s coming from either but am 35 weeks now and baby is healthy. Since baby is okay you just have to observe the bed rest (though I didn’t) by God’s Grace everything will be fine

I just realised that we are almost at the finish line ooooo. I calculated how many months and I am 7 months gone . It seems so close to the end and yet a bit far. God bless and keep us all. I read all your mentions o but laziness to type will not let me be . Make una no vex. I see you all. How our body na? Apart from breathlessness while taking stairs and unhealthy cravings, I am doing well . Lemme not forget constipation but I have come to accept it as part of the package. It really annoying sha. I hope our babies are kicking well. I really don't know how to ascertain my baby's pattern but I know he kicks regularly enough. Please answer roll call and gist us about your well being

Truly no two pregnancies are the same. My first, I wasn't even eating much and I was fine. But since this one started, I've been eating like a glutton. Can't count how many times in a day I eat. I have to eat if not terrible nausea sets in. It was not like this before o

yes I did start him on solids at 6 months

Am 7 months postpartum and got my period last week for the first time and still EBF so still need that extra protection

My edd was 31st December and I was thinking I would deliver early like 37 or 38 weeks but that came and passed at 39 weeks I became restless couldn't sleep well I was feeling mild contractions before 39 weeks everything stopped I felt normal, went for my appointment at 39 weeks 4 days and had my OB do a membrane sweep(was not painful at all) I was surprised when she said done. Fast forward to that night I started losing piece of my mucus plug the bloody show but no contractions it was like that till I was 39 weeks 6 days I woke up 12pm and noticed I was wet down there but thought I had peed on myself, got up do the usual then lay on the couch this was 3:30pm so I told hubby that it seems my water is leaking but I changed my underwear and put on pad to see, if anything by 5pm we are going to the hospital and he just said yes ma lol immediately after saying that I got up and felt a gush and there my water broke, so off to the hospital we got there they test to see if its my water and it came back positive which I was 2cm dilated, 4 hours later no contractions so was set to be induced to prevent infection. Started induction process 8pm at 2-3cm got an epidural by 12am because she increased the fluid which made the contractions frequent and intense was so unbearable even with me having high pain tolerance, epidural wear off at 1:30am got the urge to push 2:30am and my baby boy came 3:00am weighing 6lbs 4oz(2.9kg) december 31st at 40 weeks exactly, due date baby with little tear and quiet lol he didn't cry at all he was just staring at the medical team. 7 hours start to finish it could only be God. "Vigilanty is real"
