Bil submitted January 29
Eligibility not started, background verification in progress since 29 January.

Ordered GCMS on 6 February and 2nd March and they were exactly the same, no change since biometrics. I don tire.

My fear is that they should not reject my application after I have waited this long coupled with the chance that I won't easily get another ita due to age. I just wish they completed my eligibility. Background can take as long as it has to take and I won't really bother

Relax, it's barely 4 months. IRCC timeline is typically 6 months just a few exceptions sometimes with people getting it under 2 months. Mine took 5 months+. Sometimes everything gets completed at once

You guys, I'm in some sort of trouble and I need advice.

I applied for a US student visa in both 2024 and 2025 but got denied on both attempts.

Now, the US has banned Nigeria and I don't know how long it will take so I've decided to try Canada PR pathway. The problem now is, during my US student visa application, in order to "package" my application, I wrote there that I work at an organization that I actually don't work in and inflated my salary. I didn't have a job but I was advised that declaring I didn't have a job would lead to an immediate denial. So I inflated everything.

Now, it's haunting me regarding my Canada PR application. I do not intend to claim points for the US work. I currently work as a corp member and the only payment I receive is from the government.

Let me even come out cleaner. I worked at my PPA from January and left this March due to the fact that I wasn't getting paid and transport cost was eating me up. So I got a rejection letter from the organization and currently looking for a new PPA.

I was hoping to use my old PPA to claim point in case I don't get a new PPA till I finish NYSC. I was thinking if I speak to the PPA man, he'll give me a reference letter and the necessary documents I need. But I don't have a payslip or tax slip. For bank statement, payment is only the 77k payment the government paid us.

Lastly, I should mention that the amount I wrote I earn on my US application is quite high 400k+.

I messed myself up. Experienced and knowledgeable people in the house should help me please.

Nawa oh, you go explain tire. My advice would be to get a stable job and work for at least two years to clear up the mess so that your US job experience can be properly included in your personal history. Also, if you’re not done with your NYSC, do you have up to one year of continuous employment? Except, of course, for any fabricated one. While working, you can also start learning French. Create a clean slate and do things properly, naa.

Did any body notice any changes with CRS. A friend just contacted me now,he said his CRS was 392 for a long time when he checked now it has reduced to 374. And his birth has reached yet. Its ome later in the year.

Did he get points from dependants work experience or a one year diploma program?

I used CES for mine, but I think IQAS also evaluates as a professional degree. I had the option to submit both even though BL isn't necessary, they're evaluating just the LLB.

A ton of it. I don't even know where to start from.

It's doable. I started learning French from scratch and within 10 months pushed myself to write TCF. It wasn’t easy, but it paid off. I have my pr now. Just dedicate yourself entirely to learning, watch French movies without subtitles, listen to podcasts, find a tutor or study partner, and immerse yourself in the language. It took me 10 months because I was too anxious to write the exam. With upmost dedication 7-8 months is reasonable.

The CRS for the draw was 470 and she's on 475. Will draw's tie-breaker apply in this case? The tie-breaker was April 23, 2025 and her profile was created last year.

I have a friend with a CRS score of 475 who should have received an ITA in the last FSW draw targeting healthcare practitioners (Draw #362 – August 19) and for some very strange reasons, It never came.

I personally reviewed her profile - her NOC was listed among the occupations (pharmacist), her proof of funds was well above the requirement, and everything else checks out.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I looked through Reddit but couldn’t find a case exactly like this. Could this be a system glitch5th?

She needs to check the Noc required for health care properly, I don't think pharmacists are being drawn but pharmacist assistants, research it properly .

The draw was 470 so if she had a crs score of 475 then the tie breaker rule doesn't apply to her

No, a separate profile is not required. You write the exam, then update your result on your profile.

Speedaf has bad eggs and sometimes unpredictable and nonchalant just like we have in NIPOST. Na our person de both establishment but, most times, na we no de do normal things to improve NIPOST.

Speedaf took my package to Oba Akran instead of Otigba. It's been 3 weeks and they're yet to deliver it back to their Lagos DC for onward delivery to Otigba office. I've mailed them severally but no positive response! [/color]
