A Nigerian music video director called Lagacyfilmsng has called out emPawa artiste, Joeboy for allegedly taking his idea without giving him credit.

The director took to his Instagram page to call the singer out for using his idea in his latest single “Call” without giving him credit. According to him, they met at the airport in January and had a conversation while watching the trailer of a movie titled “Holmes Magician”.

The director added that he was the one that inspired the singer to do a movie type music video trailer but he wasn’t given credit.

Ten patients who tested positive for coronavirus in Osun state have been discharged after recovering from the disease.



Gboyega Oyetola, the governor, broke the news on Saturday evening.

The wife and two children of the doctor who died from coronavirus complication in Katsina State have all tested positive for the disease.



Recall that on April 7th, Dr. Aminu Yakubu, a Daura based private medical practitioner, who recently returned from Lagos to the state, died three days after his return. His blood sample was taken to the NCDC office in Abuja for examination and it was confirmed he was positive for Coronavirus.

After he was granted bail about four days ago, Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has signed a letter of apology to the Lagos State Government for defiling the stay at home order.

Marley was detained at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba on Monday April 6 after he turned himself in for questioning.

A police source confirmed that he was granted bail the very same day was arraigned in court on Wednesday April 8.

Now, a tweet by the Lagos State Government shows the signed Letter of Apology by the singer.

Fifty-one people who recovered from coronavirus in South Korea have tested positive again – raising fears the virus can be reactivated.

The patients – from the country’s worst-hit City, Daegu – were put in quarantine after being diagnosed with the virus, then tested positive again days after being released.

Korea’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) said the virus was likely ‘reactivated’, rather than patients becoming re-infected.

Scientists at the Government-run health body believe the virus may lay dormant at undetectable levels in human cells.

They say that for unknown reasons the viral particles can then be reactivated and start attacking the lungs once more.

It was earlier reported that Sallam confirmed that he was infected with the virus in an Instagram post he shared. He tested positive for the virus on March 14 after his trip to Switzerland, Denmark and France.

There is some scare over President Vladimir Putin’s health after one of Russia’s top Coronavirus doctor was diagnosed with the disease just one week after meeting and shaking hands with the Russian leader.


Denis Protsenko, 44, who is the head of Konnunarka infectious disease hospital, was visited by Putin last week, and the pair were pictured too close and even shook hands twice without protective gear.

A meeting was reportedly held in Protsenko’s office with other top officials including Russian deputy premier, Tatiana Golikova, 54, who is in charge of Russia’s coronavirus policy in attendance.
