I am in similar situation. I made payment for three of us, two were validated and the other one which is my daughter’s account is yet to be valued till date.

I completed the Ds160 for 3 of us and paid the VISa fees on AVITs for the three of us. I can proceed to book appointment for two out of the three accounts. The third account is yet to be validated and as such I cannot proceed to book appointment. It’s been a week now that I made the payment and I have my payment confirmation. I have opened a ticket to seek to have this resolved but it’s on hold. Please what else can I do? I can not book appointment for any of us because of this as the pending account is for our daughter.

Secondly, I selected Lagos while completing the DS 160 and also selected Lagos while creating account on AVITs. Can I book appointment for Abuja? There are no earlier dates in Lagos at the moment as it takes me directly to June and I have not been able to book appointment since our daughter’s payment is yet to be validated even though I have payment confirmation.
