Crusades initiated by popes
First Crusade (1095–1099)

Second Crusade (1147–1149)
Pope: Eugene III initiated the crusade in 1145.

Fourth Crusade (1202–1204)

Casualties: Originally intended for the Holy Land, the Fourth Crusade was controversially redirected to attack Christian cities.
Siege of Zara (1202): Crusaders sacked the Catholic city of Zara. The pope excommunicated the entire army for the act.
Sack of Constantinople (1204): The crusaders attacked and brutally plundered the Christian capital of Constantinople. This act deepened the East-West Schism and was not sanctioned by the pope, who nevertheless reluctantly accepted it. No total number of dead is available, but the sack was famously violent, resulting in widespread looting and death.

There’s no way you want to paint or sugarcoat such a disgusting act and call it “craving.” If everyone were to act out their cravings, do you know the world would have been far worse off than it already is? Please don't start entertaining darker, twisted cravings and refuse to admit anything is wrong with it simply because it’s a "craving"

I know you may not take this, but let me say it anyway: you don’t have to entertain every thought that pops into your head. Just because the mind is free to think of anything doesn’t mean you should use it to fantasize about unhealthy things and then try to call them “normal” just because it seems harmless. What happens to moral purity? What happens to decency? Please, if there’s anyone telling you it’s okay, it’s a lie. Marriage is supposed to be honorable and sacred, not a playground for perversions and selfish indulgence or misplaced desires. It was designed for love, trust, loyalty, and building a home that upholds dignity
