tundegan:
Tinubu is trying to make Nigerians strong like the legendary Spartans.

He is intentionally starving us so we can withstand anything.

I believe in his plan. We will soon see the result of all this hardship.

God bless my president.
If this is not your peak of delusion, I wonder what else it is!

This still looks shocking to me.

Going out in the morning, and see a parent given his 3 children, 2000 Naira going to school today. This is shocking.

Coming up in the early 2000s, in secondary school, our money no pass 20/30 or 50 Naira .. if you get 100naira, you be big boy.

Imagine primary school pupils 1,000 per day... Omo na wa o
Naira don lose value, during that early 2000s dollar was less than N140, so having N100 in your pocket in secondary school back then, you will spending like a yahoo boy. cheesy cheesy

What is uou married from another ethnic group?

Which language do you expect the child to hear?
In inter-ethnic marriages, both parents should speak their native languages to their child/children as children have the capacity to learn and speak more than one language simultaneously.
Travel › Re: Nigerian PHD Students In The USA, How Do You Survive On A $1500/month Stipend? by Mindlog: 11:11am On Oct 11, 2024
HerrFrank:
I am currently in the UK working and earning roughly 1800 pounds per month after tax. I am considering doing a PHD in the USA but my greatest fear is how do I cope with a $1500 per month stipend? Can you do additional jobs legally? Here in the UK, one struggles to live comfortably on 1800 pounds due to the current inflation crisis (which is global by the way). Please brethren, help a brother out.

PS: Married with a 13 months old child.
You are better off upskilling here in the UK to earn better within in-demand fields and when eligible to pay UK local fees, you run your doctorate program part time.

Good evening. Please I have a question. I want to apply for standard visitors visa for my plab exam. Please can I borrow from a loan company to apply for the visa?

The loan will be on the payslip, but not reflect on my bank account.
Thanks.
That is intentional misrepresentation, don't try it and if found out....you will lose big.

U are correct and I guess thisostly.happen I'm the Yoruba race or can I say educated Yoruba's

..

To the extent that their children can't speak their own language correctly
Mostly across Southern Nigeria.

Mentally, a child who can speak his or her native language is more likely to develop cognitive flexibility, stronger sense of self and helps the child with cultural identity as we all belong somewhere, no matter how some parents wants to blur it.

I recall writing on "mother tongue and cognitive development in children" for my term paper back then, during one of my undergraduate's units: Child and Adolescent Psychology. I personally know being bilingual/multilingual expands one's capacity and having grown up speaking Igbo, Yoruba and English language fluently, today I can confidently and professionally offer therapy sessions in those languages.......why limit your child?

Dear Fam,

I need your advice please. My Visa was refused on the ground that I didn't provide additional documents as requested. However, this is not true as I have email evidence of documents I submitted.

How do I appeal this decision?

Please, I need your urgent advice on the next steps to take.
