Mr. tola will tell you that, you're not here for an interview, that you are here to prove to him that you're exceptional.
So please plan on what to say, to wow him.
However...please smile!!! I did 70% of smiling..lol
He might say somethings to you, to make you feel you're not exceptional...don't make your emotions change, please remain smiling and tell him how determined you are.

Nairalandaar: I'm guessing we met this morning.. Everything you wrote up there applies to me 100% except that I applied in October 2013 not November.. I rambled on and on this morning when Oga Tola said I should say something exceptional about myself.. I know I fumbled patapata, and I had already given up.. Called my Mum and friend to tell them I have messed up o.. Only for me to get a mail to go for medicals about 10 minutes ago.. Na GOD o.. Thumbs up to everybody on this thread, we shall all celebrate. Congrats to you too Minerva01

I am here to share my testimony.
Last year November, I applied for audit. By february, I was done with everything, and was benchmarked.
I waited for their response, and I was so discouraged.
Just this morning, I went for an interview with the head of audit (Tola Adeyemi). Honestly, I felt I fumbled, because he discouraged me, and told me He is looking for exceptional individuals, but I am just 'good', not exceptional. I smiled and left it to God.
5mins ago, I got a call and email for medicals.
I just wana praise God, and thank everybody that has been helpful thus far.

Tutankhamun: Its not about how long it has been. The reality is how much influence do I have on the recruitment exercise? None.. Calling the HR has been more of a routine exercise. Why worry myself endlessly about something I have no control over? For now, I just concentrate on what I'm doing, and hope that KPMG will call someday.
Stop worrying yourself too much about something you can't control . KPMG will call when they are ready.. Just be hopeful, and get something to occupy yourself with.. Cheers

NOKSY: I am also in the benchmarking stage and haven't been contacted since then. Every other stage went by so fast. Unfortunately this stage is taking too long. We actually ought to be told if KPMG is still recruiting people in its Audit division for September this year or not, so that we can know what to do.

@tutankhamun I'm being hopeful though. I'll try to occupy my mind. It is well.
