LordAdamX: Cules will do anything to spite CR7 and the Madrid fan base. Turning to Bale's advocates just for the attention.
Maybe they've forgotten Bale is our second highest player yet hardly is available for a whole season. He is 29 next year and we've paid him good money for his inconsistency and shown him love for 5 years.
No one wants Bale to leave, but no one can be sure of how long he'd remain healthy. If he remained healthy all season long, between himself and CR7, we'd have a guaranteed 60 goals. No reasonable Madridista would want to throw that away. But that isn't the case.
We've all been here before (see 2014 and 2016), where Bale was magical in finals and we had high hopes; only for another hiatus to start.
That said, I'm sure you guys have forgotten so quickly how virtually everyone on this thread was distressed when Bale didn't start the final. Madrid Twitter was lit up. If we hadn't won, I can guarantee you, that'd have been a talking point. So to turn around and start accusing us of not giving Bale his due recognition is tomfoolery.
Bale's double at Kiev will always be in our hearts. His overhead kick will be one of the most important and beautiful goals in our club's history.
PS: Guys check this out. WTF! Mind blown! trust me. Those barka dogs don't really care about bale. Same set of people will accuse Suarez if they fail to win a match and act as if their midget wasn't in the match also. About the two over kick, it's as if they were timed, kicking it at the same time was just amazing.
At least, puskas award will be going to either bale or CR7

haymekus: Most of you here are just CR7 fans
And not Madrid fans say what you like. Most of us here have been supporters of this great club even before we thought of signing CR7.
The main reason why it looks like we care about CR7 more is because of the fact he has been carrying the club since he came on board. One of your cules, once said he prefers messi to win the world cup rather than see his own country win it. What do you call that? |

monerozi5590: Nobody is saying anything about Bale's exit talks. Nobody here is hyping the goal and measuring the distance. No Madrid player is showing him love and chanting his name just like they did to CR7.
I am typing this with heavy heart. Bale doesn't feel love in Real Madrid.
Bale if you are reading this just know that i love you.
Monerozi chanting... Bale stays!... Bale stays!!..Bale stays.
I might cry if Bale leaves just the same way i felt when Di Maria and Oezil left. it is OK for you. Just the other day you were criticizing him, now you are loving him more than ur salah. |

tesppidd: Just SMH.
The level of asss licking/asss kissing on this thread is of mind boggling proportions!
At a time when a certain Gareth Bale should be darling of madridstas worldwide for delivering yet another masterclass on their grandest stage of the season,
In comes the ever glory-seeking, attention-craving, tantrum-throwing drama queen to gate-crash on his spot light.
And as always his arrogance would be interpreted as 'competitiveness' by his ever willing asss kissers.
Surely a brace or a hattrick from ronaldo would have spared the world of his tantrums on saturday.
Sadly but unsurprisingly majority of the people here are in agreement that ronaldo and not bale should be hogging the headlines today.
FFS spare Gareth Bale 48 hours of glory and afterwards y'all can feel free to resume nibbling on your personal GOAT for eternity. trying to create issue where there is non bah?
Swear with your life that, you wouldn't talk about messi's departure, if this was him in ronaldo's situation, with suarez scoring a superb goal like bale did in this final. Stop all this asslicking stuff, it sounds stupid coming from a cule. |

confistified: It surprises me that some guys here are saying Ronaldo doesn't deserve an improved contact.... Abi na Barcelona fans group I dey?.... Apart from the fact that he was already promised this check the statistics a 33yr old man still scoring 44goals in 45games ..... When Rooney's contact was increased at Manchester United am very sure his stats was below par ........ Do u know that Real Madrid needs Ronaldo more than Ronaldo needs Madrid? ...... Check the statistics French league has been upgraded to 2 points for European golden shoe.... It means if he goes there he would be carrying it back to back and would be winning all throphies in France and a likely possibility of winning the UCL with PSG...... It's very simple if Madrid doesn't want to improve his contract they should just cash in on him now... Am very sure Manchester United and PSG would pay him what he deserves..... Imagine Messi earning almost times 2 of Ronaldos wage that's an insult..... E just be like make iPhone 8 be #1,000,000 and Samsung Galaxy S8 be #500,000 with the kind of love psg's owner and chairman have for Ronaldo. I won't be suprised if he signs him with a £60m contract per year. |

He left simply cuz he wasn't guaranteed a starting spot anymore and still felt he has a lot left in the tank. His exit was rushed because it wasn't well known ahead of time and we were paying majority of his wages at Porto till this season started Or is there something I don't know? it's the other way round. You are far more than rude to the G. O. A. T.
And you think you're taking the club side which you're not, you just sounded like a bitter person who don't care to look at things from both side.
Cr7 was promised a pay rise if a particular achievement was met, but the club failed to do that after it was met.
We're Madridstas and we also recognize insincerity if we see one.
CR7 case is not the first, the same thing was done to Casillas.
The method is really wrong.
And that is the case here. when I remember what the board and mourinho did to casillas. I feel really bitter. So painful. |

usbcable: I have tried giving a business point of view to whether CR should be let go or given a pay rise.
But I would like to address some comments I don't feel pleased about.
A wise man once said the greatest asset of any nation is its citizens. Hence the greatest asset any company (football club) has is its players.
The history of any nation is incomplete Without the ciizens. Likewise the history of Real Madrid is not complete without mentioning its players.
Simply because it is the players that make up the history of the club. We won't have La Decimal nor La Undecima nor La DuoDecima nor the 3peat without talking of the heroics of these Stars.
They create the history for us. They create wonderful memories just as some replacements of the 1998-2002 squad gave us the records of being knocked of of R16 for 6 straight seasons.
Its not proper to denigrate them.
Ronaldo is irreplaceable in the history of Real Madrid just like our other greats.
If he leaves or is forced out my opinion is that we will bear the consequences.
So far Zidane has been working on the team surviving without CR. This I believe is work in progress. If not we won't have scaled the semifinals and won the finals. Hence his presence is needed as a leader and to also nurture the budding talents on how to with stand pressure.
Or can you comfortably say any of our players can withstand same level of scrutiny and pressure CR is subjected to both on and off the pitch?
True that Real Madrid also provided the platform for him to shine but providing the platform is one leg. Making use of it for good of both parties is another. Hence a symbiotic relationship is best for all of us.
A true leader always strives for a WIN-WIN situation.
That is what I expect from us towards our legends.
Hala Madrid you have spoken well.
In summary, Perez should give CR7 a pay rise. |

MoR2: by the time Perez buys Kane or lewandoski all this noise will stop. I doubt this will happen with Ronaldo playing 9 for us (and still better than Kane and lewandoski) we should focus on giving him a new contract to appease him while he is still here.
for one, ronaldo is a source of motivation to the team and a great X factor in games (a mentor to Asensio)
I still suggest we buy Icardi (or dybala or Kane) to play along side Ronaldo, and use Benzema as backup, UCL, cup games. atleast those other players can step up the amount of our goals in a season (wins) Kane, icardi and dybala. I'm 60% sure non of them will be in Madrid. |

hopefulLandlord: I'm against their giving him a pay raise as he just signed a 5 year deal last season or so. do we need him? yes but its not like he's paying for free right now and he's the highest earning footballer in the world in terms of overall income. he's been playing less and less matches compared to before (played only 66% of league games) while earning more and more in wages
He should spend the remaining 3 years and leave, Madrid is bigger than a single player the bolded, no respect at all. |

WTF.. Did CR7 say those words to take the spot light away from Bale?
Seriously, i am not happy with CR7. The timing of his outburst is wrong.
Haba, allow Bale to enjoy his moment biko..
Marca front page is full of CR7 exit talks instead of to be talking about Bale's performance, the goal and how he won us the cup. it was the perfect time for him to air it out. How can you promise him a pay rise but fail to keep to it. Our board is fond of making our aging players angry.
CR7 deserves what ever he wants. He merits it. |

hopefulLandlord: We shouldn't give him a pay raise, he's been playing less and less each season and obviously declined in overall gameplay over the years. He should honour his contract or look for another club to game. we are Madrid and won't bend over for him like Barcelona did for Messi he will get a pay rise. That's it. We still need him. CR7,Marcelo and Ramos are our pillars. We can't lose any of them.

Cristiano Ronaldo: We made history thanks to you who've always supported us
The day after he had angered his Real Madrid teammates and the club's supporters, Cristiano Ronaldo attempted to make amends by saying that Saturday's Champions League win was a happy moment for him.
It was in stark contrast to the words he uttered directly after the final had concluded, which insinuated he wanted to leave.
"Thank you for being here this afternoon," he said from the balcony of the Community headquarters in Puerta del Sol.
"We made history thanks to you who've always supported us.
"It's a happy moment and we are very happy too.

From the questionable officiating to the injuries to key players of the opposition (Robben, Boateng, Salah) to the WTF errors ( Rafinha, Ulreich and Karius). It was as if some unseen force was behind you guys. I still don't know how you guys survived Bayern. But they say you make your own luck and that ability to suffer and still get the job done is one thing that sets Real apart from the likes of Bayern and Barca.
Abeg, you guys should just leave this thing for the rest of us next season. E don do o! Congrats, again. thank you brother. But even with this trophy, we still need more.
Though we suffered this season, still we got good results. That's just the way we are. We don't need to play the best football to win. Even if we mistakenly crash out in the group stage next season, I won't be bordered. Cause we have already made history.

LordAdamX: They said they'd offer him an improved wage before Cardiff. Then they said last summer. They didn't. Instead the club made a 140m euro offer for Mbappe; which Mbappe rejected (a senior PSG exec confirmed in an interview earlier this month).
In Nov 2017, after the Tottenham defeat, he said he wouldn't renew if the offer wasn't good enough. He's told Flo and other senior members he's leaving at the season's end months back. Yet Flo decided to ignore his demand, but has apparently sourced funds for a 220m euro Neymar buy.
Messi - 40m Neymar - 35m Ronaldo - 21m
The gap is too wide for a GOAT who has won the UCL 3 times in a row, scoring the most goals every season. This is a player who has a $1b Nike deal. He has won everything there is to win, is in the last few years of his career. Pay him or tell him he isn't needed anymore. Don't toy with him like he is in servitude, because you put a 1b euro release clause in his contract.
And then try to make him the bad guy by forcing him to make statements like these when we should be celebrating.
-Lord I liked the way he spoke his mind yesterday, if he didn't say that publicly, the board might still not give him a pay rise. |
