Good morning, and thank you to everyone who has called and shown interest so far.

I would like to clarify a few important points for serious buyers.

This is a very well-maintained Toyota RAV4, and it is not a cheap or abused vehicle. There are RAV4s on Jiji and Nairaland selling for ₦5m and ₦6m. If that is your budget, there are many options available in that category.

However, the car I am selling is not in that class.

I am selling comfort, peace of mind, and reliability.
If your budget is below ₦7m, kindly do not call. There are several lower-priced RAV4s online that may suit you better.

Anyone who has ever fallen victim to buying a badly used Nigerian car from dealers will understand the value of a Grade-A Nigerian-used vehicle. When buying used cars, repairs and replacements are usually expected.

On this RAV4, you are doing nothing at all.

All four tyres are brand new

Engine does not require servicing for another 6 months

Transmission oil not due for change for about 2 years

Vehicle documents and licence valid till October 2025

I told people to read and try to check Honda Element advertised on Jiji. There are over 10 Honda Elements in used condition for sale on jiji.

Some N1m, Some N900k N1.1m, 1.4m etc.

Please check the interior and condition of those cars, after buying for 900k, you might end up spending another N1million plus your purchase price of 900k.

It cost us so much in maintaining this car. The body paint is 100000% factory. Any panel beater that knows about cars should come and inspect and if the car has ever been painted anywhere before, he can slap my face.

Thank OP for your insight but i have this for you:
1. The said building in view was approved to go 15 suspended floors but it went 21, as a result, the foundation must have been designed to withstand 15 suspended floors NOT 21.
A collapse in NOT necessarily as a result of block works but majorly reinforcement used. The bedrock of this collapse is in the foundation design and the Developer probably ignored voice of reasoning and imported white guys to continue the work thinking they know better.
Structural defects vary in degrees but this collapse is from the foundation not block work.
I can only say this much now cuz investigation is currently on-going and I pray God console families of the victims.

That is not how building foundation works.

Load bearing capacity of the soil is determined and a foundation is recommended. If you build on recommended foundation, it can handle 30 floors

The issue of adding extra floors or modifying actual building is only to avoid paying more in approval fees, not because of the foundation.

LASPPPA calculates fees based on floors and size of building. Many developers actual do something outside what is approval and this is very common in Lagos State. Very very common in 90% of buildings in Lagos State
