UAE for ME is a wrong place to start life, unless :-
1. you have lots of money wit you before going there.
2. you got a jumbo salary of about 500k and above.
3. you don't intend having kids, cos schooling in uae is a gold mine.
for short uae is for hustling. Cost of living is high and getting a family accomodation would cost u like 3000dhs monthly which is about 160k.

Please I would like to know. Can one really start a family in dubai. Looking at the cost of living nd the average pay of Nigerians. Like hospital bills, school fees and still save.

I am now in Doha, Qatar, in another flight to Abu Dhabi. And I am glad to tell you I didn't give the "Immigration theifs" any penny except the one that begged me and it was just #100 or so.

Your own better. My dad paid 150 dollars when my sister was travelling. I was so angry. it was visit visa and they delayed her saying she was underage according to dubai new law.

This time around, its a different story. My flight is 2:45pm tomorrow and I am flying QatarAirways with my Work Entry Permit. Please I need guidelines on how to deal with our Immigration Officers in the Airport, those that believe in exploiting first time Traveller's pocket(or virgin passport as they call it). Please note that I have only 100usd with me and I am not willing to give a penny. Please help asap. THANKS
