To build a single storey building in Nigeria today requires a minimum of 110million Naira, this does not include cost of buying land.

Now tell me how you want a house owner to recover his investment if after using such exorbitant amount to erect an upstairs and he collects say 800,000 naira per year as rent? It may take him 50 years or more to recover the money he used to build the house?


Nigerians should direct their anger towards the zero performing owomida government of Tinubu.

Landlord also have his own living cost to bear, and the only way he can recoup is through his house for rent [/most of this houses are old structures, they are not new buildings. ]
