Yes, the DHL staff are right. You will need to schedule a physical interview for your daughter. Try to get the earliest interview date you can get on the system and explore seeking an expedited appointment for her.

Ahuoyiza93:
Good morning
Please who has applied for interview waiver for minor here?
I was at dhl office to submit my daughter’s (14month old) documents as she qualifies for a waiver going by the information on usa portal. (Minor with a parent having a valid visa(b1/b2)

The guys at dhl office said the embassy will return my document as I will need to bring her for an actual interview instead.

Biko has anyone experienced similar scenario?

Hi Abuja/Lagos NIV,

I'm newly pregnant and planning to give birth in a birthing centre in the US because I want an unmedicated and natural childbirth process. Do VO's frown upon birthing centres as against hospitals?

Secondly, previous US visa expires this month and I will renew soon, can I proceed with renewal via dropbox or should I schedule an interview instead since my purpose for visit is to have a baby.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks.

Think Dr. Wada of Nisa Premier Hospital remains one of the best in that area.

OK. Thanks Kaorama.

Hello,

My mother filed an immigrant petition for me which was approved in 2011, however due to the time lapse and my non-interest in continuing the process as i have commenced a career (I have over 5 years work experience) and will start a family soon here in Nigeria, I have written a request to the NVC for the case to be withdrawn.

I have been to France, Spain, Italy and Germany, now, my fiance and I, intend to go to the USA (Hawaii) for our honeymoon in August (we will get married in July), he has a valid B1/B2 visa, but I don't. My application for a tourist visa in 2014 was declined, I intend to apply again as soon as i have a confirmation that the immigrant petition has been withdrawn. I have no intention of settling in the USA as i will proceed for my M.Sc. in the UK in September. Would i still seem a flight risk to the Interviewing officer?

Hello everyone. I'll be applying for a UK student visa in May or June, however my passport expires in December 2016. Do I need to renew my passport before I apply?

Your job and salary can definitely get you through, but do not make the mistake of referring to her as your "sister" it will be seen as a lie and you could be refused on the basis of that.

Many thanks. Please I need to reach you via mail, will that be possible?

Going to Ghana is waste of time and money, it will not do you any favour, you will be given a visa if you met the requirements, there is always a first timer.

That was fast! Thanks a lot boss.

Hello

Please I wanna pay my big sis in the Uk a visit during summer.. Most likely in July. we're not blood related but we grew up together and our families are very close.

However I've never been out of the country, I work in a bank and my monthly income is above 200k, I've worked for 2years now and I have savings of about a million.
I don't have landed property yet and I'm unmarried.

What do you think my chances are seeing that I've never been out of the country... Do you think I should go to Ghana just to have international travel history?
