Gbogbolet: This is to inform all of you that you should relax your mind, previous Batch are still in training in ph, (2015/2016 recruitment exercise ) no information or directives will be pass across on next step to be taken until they leave this current 3 months training.. almost 2 months gone already. Thanks from a reliable source Doesn't stop the board from beginning the shortlisting process. Besides NSCDC is supposed to recruit too so the board has to get NIS off it's table |

Rogersmith: The board have a lot on their table then...I don't envy them at the moment. Let just see how things goes. The I'm not sure they are going to follow the recruitment process in a bullet form. It's going to be alter probably the CBT is going forked(figuratively speaking ) out. Thanks for your input. I don't envy them either, lol. Let's see how things go though. |

Rogersmith: Since is going to be an electronic shortlisting at this stage it would take much of their time i guess. Probably a week should do. Exactly. But their goal is basically to eliminate because the applications are too many apparently. So fastest method for them is to screen out based on their requirements and people who applied wrongly. The one I'm sure of is that they're already working on it. |

Rogersmith: Thanks. When should we expect the list to be out? I honestly don't know but certainly the shortlisting is next on their to do list. They just finished with promotion exercise for immigration officers, so next up is this recruitment thingy. |

Guysssss! Hope some of yall filled your online application very well? The board is soon to begin eliminating/discarding some applications. If your age doesn't match what they asked for, if your height is below the requirement and if you misapplied ( ie position you applied for). They should begin shortlisting this week sha. I wish us all the best. |

*WHY BOTHER, I HEARD THE QUESTIONS ARE SIMPLE?* Not all fingers are equal. Some people prefer preparing ahead and have a sense of what the questions would look like. Questions that are simple like ABC are the one's that are simple to fail too. Most people needed it to remove anxiety. Remember no matter how simple a exam/test is, some people will still fail because of lack of preparation, that is just a natural fact. And remember the test results will be measure on time factor. Those that submitted on time with the correct answers will be selected first. Don't forget over 2million has already applied and more will still apply. And they need only 150,000. NIS picks simple questions because they knows what they are doing.
My friendly advice, don't underestimate the simplicity.

Nigerians can be funny, someone is charging you 500 naira recharge for past questions and some of you would actually send it. Someone is charging 2000 naira for 'past questions'. You can read online on the history of NIS, you can practice basic English questions and simple maths questions. You can download GMAT questions and practice. Don't let anyone defraud you. The list of successful candidates isn't even out yet and some of you are bothering your heads. The other time it was someone advertising to write N-power assessment test for individuals, I am certain people will contact that ridiculous fellow. |
