Chapter 5

Say cheese!!,the photographer said, sounds of cameras filled the air, people were jubilating,it was a great day. Pamela was in a pink short gown with cream beads embroided at the neck region, she wore black heels and held a black clutch purse,she stood close to Bode who was smilling broadly while they took photographs.

'my parents are around dear,let's go over to meet them'.bode announced,

Pam was a little bit scared,she was meeting Bode's parents,so soon. when they got close to the car,she saw four people alight from the black jeep,an elderly man and woman who she guessed were bode's parents,a tall young lady and a man.

Bode hugged his parents and sister and prostrated for the second man,a family friend,before introducing Pam to his parents, the woman greeted her happily and the man also greeted her,she knelt and greeted them properly.

When she greeted the lady she later got to know as Farayola, she answered through her nose,Pam was taken aback but quickly got over it.

Farayola looked at the young lady from the corner of his her eyes and couldnt help but feel a pang of jealousy,she couldnt be more than 18 years of age,and here was she,she'l be clocking 30 the next month with no sign of a serious man forthcoming.what a life!.

After some pleasantries,she got to know some things about bode's family before the day's activities were over,she went to sherry and they went back to the hall together.

Chapter 4
Second semester 100 level was soon coming to an end, you know that means its exam period,everybody got serious,Pam has always been serious though,but she read harder, she saw Bode less often.

She was on her way home from the library one evening when she met a beautiful,fair girl, the girl had disgust plastered on her face,pam was alarmed,who could she be?

After a short eye battle,she identified herself as bode's girlfriend and warned pamela severely to leave her boyfriend alone,she said it with so much hatred and authority she almost trembled and couldn't say a word.

Pamela couldnt belief what she heard,she ran to her hall crying,she narrated the issue to sherry who after a little petting advised her to confront bode.

she called bode and told him they needed to see,he chose a shed close to her hall and she agreed.
On seeing him,she broke into fresh sobs,he was confused,bode asked her what was wrong and she blurted out,

'how could you do this to me?so you were dating another girl all along and you kept on deceiving me..'

bode knelt at her feet and started apologizing, then he explained to her that he wasn't double-dating but that he kept numerous girlfriends before meeting her and that immediately after meeting her,he broke off with them.
He asked for the description of the girl and when Pam told him he said her name is stella,he had something serious rolling with her before but that has ended when he met Pamela.

Stella was his only problem,she knew him in and out,and even has a stand with his family.
He apologised to Pamela for keeping such a huge thing from her,then gathered her in his arms.

Pamela laughed as Bode said something funny,it was a cool evening and they were out on one of their numerous dates,Bode was gradually finding his way into her heart if he he wasnt there already,though she already said yes to his proposal,she never knew any guy could make her come out of her hard shell and feel love,it was heavenly.

She loved his sense of humour,the way he made her feel like she was the most precious thing in the whole world....wow.

Ever since the first day she set her foot on campus,bode had always been around her to help her,during her registration,he even introduced her to some of his friends who were in the same department with her so they could help her out anytime she needed help academically.

They were the talk of the campus,while some people cherished their relationship,others blamed Pamela for rushing into things so quickly,how old was she by the way?.

She's been hearing rumours here and there,there was even a time her friends called her and told her she was taking things too far,they claimed that somebody saw them in night class kissing,and PDA was something they hated,it made a girl look uncultures but she didnt care, bode's love for her and her's for him was all that mattered to her, moreover she was still her brilliant self, let them say!.

She was having a swell time with her lover, she knew many people were jealous of them and that made her walk on clouds,there was a day they wore the same blue coloured t-shirt to the school cafetaria,girls were jut looking at them,one of them shot her a murderous look but she didnt even entertain the thought any further or give it any meaning ,jealous things.

Chapter 3

Sherry got to the hall on saturday morning,thanking God she didn't meet Pamela at home,she wouldn't have known how to face the girl,what was she going to tell her anyway?

She sighed and helped herself to a packet of biscuits with milk before jumping on the bed and recalling how the whole David saga went.

She had set out on friday afternoon to visit David in his school without telling him beforehand,if she had told him he might discourage her from coming and she just had to see him before she would lose her mind,it's been ages since they saw last and if he wasn't missing him,she was.

It was their first semester in 100 level so work wasn't too much coupled with the fact that it was a weekend.

Sherry got to David's hall in the evening and David was,as expected,was surprised to see her,she jumped at and hugged him tight which he returned when he got over his initial shock of seeing her,he also missed her but had no idea she would come visiting.
He introduced her to his roomie,Dayo,who greeted her enthusiastically before leaving the room.
After Dayo left,femi excused himself to get her something to eat and told her to freshen up while he was away.after some time he was back and they chit-chatted till about 7.00pm when he took her sight-seeing.

While they strolled,his mind got busy,he loved sherry but the idea of her coming over didn't appeal to him,he has never slept in the same room with the opposite sex and just how he would handle the issue,he didn't know.

On getting to the room he noticed his room mate has packed necesary things for the night,he was sleeping at another person's room to allow them some privacy,he sighed.

After much talk, they settled to sleep,sherry changed into a night wear that left nothing to the imagination and which David did a great job ignoring,he said prayers and turned on his side to sleep,backing sherry.

She couldn't sleep all night,she expected him to at least do something,she wondered if she had no appeal...
At about 1.00am,she nuzzled close to David,pretending to be cold,after some time he responded,she was so happy when he started kissing her but her joy was shortlived when he stopped dead in his track and removed his hands from under her garment. Confused she pulled him closer but he moved back,

'what happened Dav.'

'i'm sorry,but i don't wonna sin against God,i can't do this'

do what?she wondered,he couldnt even kiss her?gross.

Very early the next mroning she left and came back to school,fighting back tears in the car she boarded,what was the big deal in David making love to her anyway?.
