A source closely connected to Governor Sanwo-Olu and influential figures in Lagos refutes the claim that anyone in the Lagos State Government endorsed the NURTW state treasurer to disrupt MC Oluomo's second term and assume the role of state chairman. According to the source, Sego's assertion is a mere product of his imagination. Sego has been spreading the falsehood that the governor instructed him to take over as NURTW chairman, interfering with MC Oluomo's second term. I can definitively state that this is untrue. The governor never issued such instructions to Sego, an Exco member recently sworn in. Sego must produce official communication or video evidence supporting his claims. In fact, attributing statements to individuals on camera that they did not make could constitute a criminal offense. The state government intends to summon Sego to provide evidence of the governor's alleged statements. I also doubt that the Speaker of the House and the Chief of Staff, both appointed by the governor, endorsed these claims. Sego should not rely on fabricated lies to pursue his ambitious agenda of disrupting a legally constituted executive without substantiating evidence. When the government announced Park Management or its dissolution, there were official press releases. Where is the press release announcing Sego? Fortunately, Sego made these claims on video, compelling him to defend his statements. Very soon, he will be invited soon to provide evidence of his claim.

There are plans by power that be in Lagos and Abuja to replace MC Oluomo with his Treasurer, Sego. In what is being considered as total mark of betrayal, men close to MC Oluomo are aligning and plotting his removal barely two months after he was sworn in as chairman of National Union of Road Transport Worker (NURTW), Lagos Chapter. How The Problem Started Immediately the post of National president became vacant, MC Oluomo expressed his desire to run for the post but unknown to him many of his associates in Lagos that are happy are happy because they have finally got a chance to get rid of him in Lagos. But after a while, MC thought about it and realised he is about to lose his major base, Lagos and the influence he wield. As the popular saying goes, all politics are local, and losing his political base will weaken his influence and render him useless. While MC was still busy weighing his option, the state treasurer, Mustapha Sego had started plotting with other branch chairmen and men around MC Oluomo to contest for the post of the state chairman. He went as far as getting the backing of Seyi Tinubu who gave his blessing. MC however shocked Sego by saying he is not contesting for the post of the national president again. Sego and all the people whose support he has gained insisted that MC must go. And this is without considering the fact that he just took office for his second term. Seyi Tinubu Blocks MC from President The very influential son of the president, Seyi Tinubu pitch his tent with Sego for three reasons: He has always known Sego and they have long term relationship long before MC. Two, Seyi is tired of all the showoff of MC OLuomo and particularly his children who come online and cause unnecessary social media backlash for the president. Three, Seyi and some people in the presidency said the continuous association of MC to the president is not good for for his image hence the plan to cut him off. And lastly, Seyi Tinubu is planning to back Sego so he (SEYI) can take contol of the union ahead of 2027. He reckons that MC has many interests and won't be totally loyal and available for him to use to prosecute his political interest in 2027. Dwindling Influence of the governor, Sanwo-Olu Seyi is planning to gain more influence in Lagos far more than SanwoOlu whom many see as a weakling and sitting duck. Sanwo want to maintain peace and like MC Oluomo because Sanwo always reward loyalty and doesn't want Sego whom many perceive as a troublemaker. But Seyi is determined to show the governor that he is the son of the president and solidify control of Lagos and the union ahead of political heavyweights such as the governor, speaker of house of assembly, Obasa and the chief of staff who has governorship ambition. How MC Oluomo Men Abandoned Him In a surprising turn of event, men who were hitherto loyal to MC have pitched their tents with Sego. Men like Kokozaria, Bush, Kunle Poly, Chairman of Oshodi local government, and many branch chairmen. This is so shocking because many people never expected some of these people to ever say no to MC talkless of pitching their tent witn Sego who has openly declared war on MC. Not only that, 80% of branch chairmen in Lagos have stopped remitting money to MC has Sego instructed them not to pay money to state cover until MC vacate the seat. MC Oluomo is said to be jittery and afraid as he is no longer given access to the president and Sanwo-Olu seem helpless to help him. And his resources is also dwindling, as a matter of fact, he is almost broke as the state chairmen are no longer paying money into state cover and this has been going on for over a month now. The Oshodi Day Drama Many musicians who climbed the stage at Oshodi on Sunday sang MC Oluomo's praise while chiding Sego while K1 De Ultimate admonished MC to have a sit down with the boys to end their war. It was obvious to everybody present that there was problem in the NURTW'S turf. Looming Crisis in Lagos As we speak now, Sego is looking for opportunity to have a physical one with MC Oluomo and he has been spotting for war and told all fuji muscians to begin to sing that MC should go to Abuja while he, Sego takes charge of Lagos. He is planning to attend parties that MC attend and spot for free for all if MC dares to engage. MC has increased his security while Sego now move with many boys. How this will play out will be determined by SanwoOlu, Seyi Tinubu, Obasa (speaker of House of Assembly) and the Chief of Staff.
