I would advise that he states his children's details in his application whether he intends to travel with them now or not. If he wants to apply with them now, he would need a document from the court confirming that he has sole custody of the children and that document must be attached to the application along with your marriage certificate showing that he is married to you. If he does not want to travel with them now, by including their details in his application, he has already declared them and it would make things easier when he actually wants to bring them over.

If things are still confusing for you, you might want to enlist the service of a UK immigration lawyer. That way you know all loose ends would be tied.

I think you posted this before and it was answered.
Whether you had the kids or not and whether they are travelling with him or not, they are his dependants. It's better to put them on so as to avoid UK visa issues for them if your spouse intends to make applications for them in future.

I just wanted to double check and also want to know if it won’t affect his application in anyway.

I’m a lady and have my student visa already and due to travel by end of the year but got married after my visa application. My husband would be joining me in a month as a dependant but he has kids from another although not married to her. Can his kids be added as our dependants as he’s fully responsible for their upkeep but they won’t be joining us anytime but solely responsible for them?
My marriage certificate says *Single father with children* while mine says * Spinster* but we are now officially married.

Do you think he should add them as dependent or remove since they won’t be traveling with him and won’t there be any issue for visa approval?

You and your husband can travel together, no problem. Just make sure u both fill your children names as ur dependant and click no (where you ask; are u travelling at the same time with them?)

The children are from his non married partner, so I married him as a single father… can he still put them as dependents? Or just take them out ?

I think your husband needs documentation showing he has sole custody of the kids and the children mother has to give her consent also if he wants to travel with them. But if doesnt want to I dont think theres need for that

It might they said only citizens and people with residence rights can enter and student visa does not have resident rights

Yeah... Actually charging in the hotel is contraband, so they removed all the sockets. Trust guys now, we just bought wire and extention from one coded guy n mami (there are always coded peeps to run show with and they can help u get anything into the camp) and we tapped from the lamp holder. That's how we charged for 3weeks. As for network, all can call but only airtel can browse anywhere, mtn fluctuates but its faster. Dunno about glo

are you saying it's not allowed to charge in the hostel or what? Where do they expect us to charge our phones and all.....nothing is good in that enugu camp sef....bad toilet bad everything chai see suffer head

Agwu camp is one of the oldest camp in Nigeria. It was built during the civil war by Ojukwu infact some of the old civil war bunker are use as hostel. It is on top of a small hill and it get really cold at night. The toilets are horrible. I mean really terrible. In my hostel we used pit latering as toilet and it was the first time I ever use a pit latering. Also the toilet and bathroom are located in the same location and you see people deficating while you take your bath. Also there is big water problem because the camp is located on hill there is no borehole. You either buy water or wait till 6am or 6pm when a water truck supply water for the camp and the water usually last for only 1 hour. The hostels don't have good windows so you might need a blanket and since its a small camp there is always overcrowding. I didn't have any bunk to sleep on my first 3 night because I arrived at the camp very late. It has been 3 years since I went to camp there so somethings might have change. Anyway, Enugu is one of the best state to served. I enjoyed every second I spend in Enugu and I was lucky to get a good ppa in the largest LGA in Enugu. Enugu was the highest paying state 3 years ago and we were always paid on time and never owed any allawee. My set was the first to be paid 10k and it used to be 5k. I don't know how much they pay now .NYSC in Enugu was one of my best experience in life. You will love Enugu State and make sure you have fun
