Gbam, it has never suited us, RDM tried it, yes we were great to watch but still we never outscored our opponents easily....but defending and taking our few chances has taken us places, its sad to see Roman has allowed the media and rival fans influence his opinion of how his team should play, wanting the barca style at all cost and filling up the team with players he thinks would give him that, playing tiki taka didnt get arsenal anywhere, now they change pattern when needed , like their game against spurs and stoke this season.

This whole roping the blames for not creating chances on Lampard is wearing out sense, not to even mention that he's clamped to a pivot position now.

Last i checked, creating chances isn't reserved for the folks in the pivot.

Hazard and co were busy doing some short 'unnecessary' passes around the magpies area than coming up with a direct attacking play. You dont just probe around an opponent's area with sicky short passes and still expect to break into their box or create clear-cut chances, no be magic - unless u're banking on their errors, which Williamson, Mbiwa etc werent ready to dish out.
