The Nysc medical and social CD group as part of their community development project organised an awareness and testing program on hepatitis B, malaria and Genotype test.
The program which took place on 25th of Feb 2016 in front if Ikeja mosque recorded more than 200 participants of which quite a number of them tested positive for HBsAG (hep. B). They were counseled by a doctor and were advised to go for further testing and treatment. The negative ones where adivesed to go and vaccinate to protect against this silent killer which can be transmitted through body fluid.
The impact of the program will forever remain in the of the market community
