How will they do anything when nobody is speaking up. Nigerians we like to suffer in silence. To me this 10% especially for individuals
Exactly my sentiment. It’s quite much. Prior to now, it wasn’t applicable to mmf, but these people just did the magic. And it’s on monthly returns, not 10 percent annually but monthly.

Good morning guys.
It seems there’s a problem oh. 10 percent will be withdrawn from interest at the point of payout. This is not nice at all. This government is going crazy.

Congrats.
Which platform are you using for your investmenthuh?
Thanks.
It’s Stanbic I’m using for now. I have had a nice experience so far though. I like their monthly interest reinvestment. I also have fbn quest and united capital, but I’m yet to start using them fully.

I paid into my stanbic mutual funds on 23july.
Can I still top up the funds
Yes, you can.
You can even decide to top up everyday.
But do so early in the morning so that you get interest for that same day

Hope you have other investments? Buy shares too o for long term. You can be doing like 5% - 10% in Stocks if your risk appetite is low. Diversify your investment.
No, I don’t. Maybe from next year, I’ll invest in fbn quest smart beta equity fund…
I have a good feeling about it.
My mmf is with Stanbic and I’m cool with them

Lol... The rate wasn't as high as this 5 years ago. At a point it went as low as 8% but we hope to enjoy the 20% we have now for a long time.
Yes, but inflation was less then as well and the value of naira was reasonable. I know the rate wil reduce as time goes on but before the end of Tinubu’s term, it won’t be less than 15 % because as long as fuel
Price remains high, the cost of living by implication inflation will be up there

Good job 👏
Thanks so much. I wish I knew about this like 5 years ago. I would have saved up to 60m or more by now. Damn

I’m so happy guys.
Finally made my mmf 12m. Started investing late last year. At least 200k is guaranteed monthly from August. 1m by December without lifting a finger.
Thank You Jesus.
TravelRe: I Want To Return Back To Nigeria From UK Permanently by Mixology(m): 8:49am On Jan 31, 2025
Hi OP.
I know how you feel.
I live in Europe and it’s not been easy for me.
Depression, loneliness, racism, etc.
But you have to keep hope up.
You are probably not married.
Same as me.
If you really want to return home.
Try to invest very well.
Look for a good mutual fund manager like Stanbic, United capital, etc.
Save at least 60m with them. That will give you returns of 1m monthly.
With that in place, you can head back to Nigeria.
If things don’t work out you can still relocate with your initial 60m to another country of your choice.
Good luck.
NB: I don’t usually give these kind of advice for free but no worries.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Got A Job In Saudi Arabia But Am Scared To Make The Move by Mixology(m): 5:40pm On Dec 31, 2024
Don’t do it, bro
The pay is too small.
Even students in Europe and North America make at least twice that pay and can save at least, half of it.
It’s better you use express entry and move to Canada. There are many provinces looking for your kind of expertise.
Don’t rush, just be strategic.

FBN quest is fine but their app, customer care, etc is shitty.

Hi, please who knows about sfdh coral mmf. It seems their rate is about 23% or so.
How’s their customer care, etc, like?
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Mixology(m): 4:47pm On Nov 19, 2024
freeman67:
To be frank, their customer care can be very unresponsive sometimes. In that situation all you have to do is to be persistent if you must use them or change to a more responsive Asset Management. Other times it may be that you do not have the right address to contact. Attached is a screenshot of an official email I got from them earlier. It carries their customer care email address and about 3 phone numbers you can contact.

Just check and see if it is different from what you have.
Thanks bro
But it’s actually the same mail I wrote to. I even included customercare@fbnquestmb.com

Good morning all.
I just have an observation and I need assistance please.
Is it just me or is that FBN Quest customer care is very poor? Since I opened an mmf account with them a few months ago, they refused to reply my email when I tried to resolve other few issues. This is a big red flag. It’s risky to keep putting money there then. FYI, I’m in diaspora.
I wrote to their customer care emails, I even tried to call the relationship manager whose number was on the acc opening email but it was not reachable.

ICTspecialist:
so does it have a solution
Yes, it does.
Quit porn and masturbation for 90 days, then your brain will heal and your libido and erection will come back.
But it’s difficult, so be ready to persevere.
