The last interest paid to me by first ally on mmf was on the 13th. This is quite worrisome
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Mixology(m): 4:01am On May 08
Good morning all. Question for users of first ally : between first ally mmf and high yield savings fund, which would you recommend?

You will need to go to the bank so they can generate a token for transfer above 1m
Thanks bro
But I’m not in naija and my card is expired.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Mixology(m): 7:15pm On May 04
Hi guys, please does anyone know someone who works at first bank. I’m trying to increase my transfer limit but I can’t seem to be able to do so on my own.

You'll encounter problems with your withdrawal except you want to verify your foreign address. On another note, if u intend to travel to Nigeria soon, u can verify address later.

Chapelhill is very silly with the stupid address verification. It's even more annoying because it doesn't verify instantly, you have to be at the address for hours or days.

You don't need cscs if u ain't trading stocks.
Many thanks.
Maybe I’ll just verify my foreign address.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 1:30pm On Apr 22
Hi guys, I opened paramount (invest Naija), trying to verify my address but it’s showing my live location (I live in Europe) whereas I want to use my naija address as I have the electricity bill. What do I do please?

It’s also asking for CSCS account, I thought this wasn’t necessary for equity fund.

I have taken all my money to mmf but I want to start equity afresh with money I can lose, so I won’t even be checking everyday. Thanks
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 7:13am On Apr 04
Please I need recommendation for just one equity fund with fast top up and fast withdrawal, good returns history and ability to see your daily returns, good app interface as well.

@Mixology, you can click on the second link in my signature to go with Norrenberger or download myinvestar app powered by First Ally from the Play Store, use SA-Emma as your referral code. Your expectations are basic obligations of Fund Managers.

By the way, I hope you have the investment objective that will enable you to be focused and know exactly the type of investment instruments to stick with.
I used your code for Stanbic before, I will use it for first ally to support you bro

Of all the fund managers I have used for mmf so far, only first ally tick every of these requirements. You can even withdraw on holidays. I made withdrawals yesterday & received my funds immediately. I don't think any other fund manager can do that.
If you’re sure about this then I will use them, Waoh, cool

If you have GT banking app , it's easy and smooth 17.5 percent. Or use cowrywise for trust banc mmf for 19.9 percent .
Okay, cool
Many thanks

I tried Stanbic equity fund before, I have seen shege. Let me diversify mmf for my peace of mind
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Mixology(m): 10:47am On Mar 20
Good morning guys, please I need a solid mmf that is at least 17 percent, good user interface, being able to see daily income, quick deposit and withdrawal, as well as ability to print the statement of account instantly by oneself.
Many thanks

Don't port all your funds to MMF; if it recovers; you can choose to stay or move to a better equity fund manager. T-1 transitioning and Dangoil are around the corner.
Yeah bro. I get you. I’m just observing for now, i want it to fully recover first. From all indications it seems equity funds may do well this year, one just have to be ready for the fluctuations…
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 8:23am On Mar 18
Good morning guys, Stanbic equity was green for me. I’m happy, for now… 😀

[quote author=LoriHamo post=138754568]Chaiiii....I feel the frustration in your message

I have equity with Stanbic too....the truth is that my capital isn't affected yet....

But bro.....can you give it time?....let it recover?.....

Take things easier......

The truth is Equity is the only REAL fund "grower".....

Just start with like 20% of all your investment funds .....

I lost money too but I have learnt to stop panicking. You're panicking because you are used to seeing Your MMF accruals every 12 am . Equity pays the patient and the brave.

I wanted to be seeing growth whenever I log in …
Yeah true, I’ll try to be patient

Go about your daily life . There's no cause for alarm.
Hmm, that’s hard though

Just about a week ago bro. I removed the money from balanced fund and put it there

InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 8:16am On Mar 13
Please I need help oh, Stanbic equity is dealing with me. I have lost almost 250k, from my 10m there in just one week. I hope it recovers after which I’m going back fully into mmf and funding it aggressively. Damn!

Once your capital recover move it to Stanbic equity, it is one of the best. Their balance fund is not good. If only u asked questions here before investing, I wouldn't have advised Stanbic balanced fund. But their equity is good. You need to add equity to your mmf. I don't recommend putting all your funds in mmf.
Thanks for your advice bro. I just checked, Stanbic equity has been consistently doing well in the last 3 years, and actually did 65 percent last year, maybe I’ll put 10m there and leave 11m in mmf.
Hopefully it will do at least 35 percent for me this year
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 10:31pm On Feb 27
I actually wanted to minimise the risk, that’s why I opted for balance fund. I’ll just return everything to mmf and look for a good equity fund to invest in gradually. I don’t the money now though, not even in the next two years but seeing it just go down just like that is painful sha, lol. It is well…
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 9:20am On Feb 27
Guys I put 15m from my mmf into Stanbic balance but it has depleted badly. I may withdraw the money once it bounces back sha. The red is too much oh

Okay bro. Thanks
But please help me check if it’s possible to print statement instantly from the app when needed

EquityM:
You can split your equity, half in Stanbic Equity and half in Cardinal or Afrinvest. Use a balanced approach since you are just new to equity. Check here for the best equity fund managers and ponder on who to go with.

But i just want to have one equity fund though. Since it’s just 100k I will be putting there…

From what I hear from investors, I think stabic equity is one of the best. They were among the top performing equity fund for last year. Only their mmf rate is low.
Thanks. I’ll check it out.
Anybody using ucap equity?
Please share your insight
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 1:05pm On Jan 26
EquityM:
Equity is risky; nevertheless, it is the best way to beat the daily falling rate. I would recommend Afrinvest or CardinalStone if you choose monthly top-up.
Thanks for the insight. Although my money in Stanbic is in mmf. Just wants to start equity now
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by Mixology(m): 10:39am On Jan 26
Good day guys. I came here from mutual funds thread. I currently have 20m in Stanbic. Although it’s for long term but currently the rate is low. I also have ucap but I haven’t started investing there.
Please I need advice of a good equity fund (just one) for long term investment. I wish to be investing monthly like 100k from this month. I don’t like opening too many accounts. I want at most one or two in addition to Stanbic. Thanks
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Mixology(m): 9:27am On Jan 23
Hello all, specifically at Emmasoft, how do we now check our daily rates (interest) at Stanbic mmf? This was one of the major features that made me invest there…
