Funny enough, I agree with Fayose on this.

Igbos have the most important resource needed in a nation - human resources. I have always maintained that Ignos are the most resourceful and industrious set of people in Nigeria. You will find them everywhere. They have been able to develop some of their cities despite lean resources from the FG e.g. Onitsha, Awka and Enugu.

Others will eventually cope but it will take some considerable time.

South south will survive because of oil but they don't have the human resource capable of accelerating their development.

Yorubas will have to rely so much on Lagos to cope.

The North will be the worst hit as they have relied solely on oil for so long.

Africa only has itself to blame for where she is today, but that doesnt mean colonisation, slavery etc didnt contribute to it.

I have done a huge research on this topic with several articles on the internet but i cant give u links yet.

I honestly do not beleive that we wouldnt have civilization without European influence. Hundreds of years before colonialism, we had black kingdoms like meroe and egypt.

Of course, we would have civilisation. But our so-called civilisation would be thousands of years behind western civilisation.
If not for colonisation, we wouldn't be where we are today. I will come later to state my reasons.
