I am so happy that when it's all over, Cavs would be out of excuses! They have been well rested and had an easy playoffs path. Warriors have been battered and just cme off a true nba finals match with okc. I don't see a game 7 happening. We should be able to close this out by 5 or 6 |

SmooshCHN: Actually as I said in earlier thread, LeBron has become less the trash talker and the usual annoying guy.. I don't think he hates Curry too. He just knows his doom and tries to act calm about it like a boss he thinks he is. In today's practice he acknowledged Curry as the deserved MVP and said "It's amazing what he has done to in league". I don't think he hates Curry.. Tomorrow, all talk aside. We are taking Game 1 in big fashion. I know he doesn't hate Curry... See this is reversed psychology... He kinda knows the scale of balance is tilting in Warriors favour. So he trying not not trash talk and remain humble. So that just incase he flops. The pity party wud have something in his favour |

Skywalker5: Yea i just watched it and i was laughing my head off. Its like they have placed a curse on Lebron. i was reading on yahoosports and a lot of them a rooting for Lebron. they think GSW are kids who just got lucky. i mean really? yeah they do! The other episodes about Kobe n Curry was so funny. I strongly believe that's why GSW wud take the chip. They have something to prove.. People haven't given them the respect they deserve, even Lebron questioned Curry's MVP. Just because people think they got lucky. Saying 24-0, 73-9, 400 3ress, 17points OT, 12 3ress in a Game, 11 3ress in a playoff game, Draymond's record, winning 4-3 after a 3-1 deficit means nothing without a ring. So we will see now!! I can't wait |

SIRcumalot: I haven't watched a cavs series since the 4th game against Detroit in the first round. only highlights. so my feel for the team isn't so good. can they replicate what gave OKC those wins three times in a series? because that is the way to beat this warriors team. I no believe this tyron lue guy. even the time warriors play horribly, they just start making crazy threes. I wanted OKC for a reason. am not making any prediction, still I hope for a cavs win am tired of warrior fans. |

Eruditor: KD said it in his post game 7 interview when he was asked whether GSW seemed to have had it easy at the 3-pt line: he said the shots that GSW made in games 6 and 7 to win were the same shots they had missed in games 3 & 4.
Apart from games 2 and 5, OKC dominated at the boards and paint and with exception to game 5, they lagged behind at the 3-pt line but the underlying truth is that had GSW shot (in games 3 &4) anything close to what they did in Games 6 and 7, those blow-out losses would have been way much closer and they may have even won those games.
The point here is that the Cavs have been impressive in this 2016 Playoffs largely due to their 3pt shooting. But in GSW, they face a team that not only defends better than them as a team, but one that also defends the 3pt line better and are at either position 1 or 2 (behind the SAS)in the whole of the NBA in defending perimeter shots.
To add insult to Injury, GSW (as a whole) is a significantly better 3-pt shooting team than the Cavs (even though Cavs have a better% as far as the P/Os go) and should their sparring be limited to shooting 3s- I sense it will be an easy series for GSW.
Without sounding too smack, the WCFs series has exposed GSWs frailties in handling taller and more athletic teams but it doesn't appear they would have that challenge with the Cavs. The margin of both offensive and defensive rebounds that GSW suffered against OKC will not exist in this series. The points off fast break points or the efficiency at the free throw line will also be curtailed as, save Kyrie, the other paint scorers in the Cavs team are not that fantastic at the FT line for e.g, Lebron.
I think it is safe to say that Cavs may need to switch their game to accommodate GSWs and when it fails, they better hope those wild 3s drop for them. They are a good passing team, with a mega super star in Lebron and a good scorer in Kyrie, so I expect each of the games to be close.
My antecedents for supporting GSW on this thread is well-known so I guess it should come as no surprise to see me lean towards them and say they got this in 5 or 6 games. I am not trying to disparage the Cavs- I do not see a game 7 in this.
But nothing is set in stone. send me your account number |

A40: I think Klay has been the best player for the Warriors so far these playoffs. Doing the work he did on Lillard, Durant, Harden and still putting up his numbers. Not sure the Warriors care though. Ola Inu kan wa Truth |

Eruditor: I doubt he needs your applause, he is already the unanimous MVP. Klay gets all the praise he deserves but anyone questioning Curry is watching a cooking show and not basketball.
Curry has averaged 27.9 ppg, 5.9 asts and 2.1 stls against this OKC in 7 games. What other contribution is he expected to make?
Against Rockets he had touched them in game 1 scoring 24pts in just one half but was sat out for 85% of the 2nd half. He wouldn't play again till game 4 where he got 6pts and was injured for the rest of the playoffs.
Yes Klay carried the team in his absence but after they lost game 3 to POR, Curry came back and dropped 40pts in that game including 17 in OT. I guess it is safe to say without him, they won't have won game 4. He subsequently dropped 29pts in game 5 to wrap it against POR.
In this series against OKC, he carried his team almost single-handedly in game 2 when Klay struggled a bit, and even though Klay had moments in game 4 when he was pushing his team while Curry fluffed, the MVP redeemed himself in game 5 dropping 31.
Definitely the most significant moment was Klay's 11 3pts against OKC at Chesapeake to add to his defensive displays on KD and Russell, but Curry helped close out that day again dropping another 31 (according to ESPN.com) and 36 yesterday.
To put this into significant numbers both Curry and Klay are tied for most 3s in a WCFs with 29 each. In other words, Curry made as much 3s as Klay did over the 7 game series including a record 7 3s in the game 7.
Nobody is saying Klay is not the team's current Post-season MVP. We are just suing for caution to those who say Curry's contributions have been iffy. The numbers disagree with them, and numbers, as they say, do not lie. YOU ARE THE REAL MVP I WISH I CAN GIVE YOU A BIG HUG |
