If u don't mind me asking... where do u work/where do we work/what are the challenges

on a normal day and in a normal situation, PSE grad can work in any company once they make use of electricity supply. As a 300lvl student , if u havent done ur IT , u can do ur IT at Transmission company of Nigeria or a Power Generation company like Egbin and co or a company that has power euipment that u can learn from their maintenance team, those are d places where u can learn PSE better in terms of practical .They always accept IT student though they dont pay. But as far as where u can work , u can work anywhere. But the best way to start a career in Nigeria is to enter any organisation through their Graduate Trainee program and at the end of the day , u might end up working in a telecom company. Most companies dont ask for your option when they want to employ, they ask for Elect/Elect graduate. So just focus on what u are doing and pass with good grades , the rest will settle itself after graduation and service. As for where i work, i finished my NYSC 2 months ago and still searching for a job. And the thing is in Nigeria , u just search for any job just to sustain urself, if u are lucky to get a job in ur line u build ur career around it and if its other way round , you use your brain to determine ur future. Dont be scared , Just grad with good grades and other things will fall in.

To my understanding, in Nigeria ,all d options doesnt matter. Any company that want to recruit u as a fresh graduate willl train you to their taste. I graduate from elect/elect dept power option .Getting ur dream job in Nigeria is not easy , u just have to start with whatever u see . so i will advice u to just choose the one you think d courses will be easier for u to pass or May be the one related to where you did ur IT, u can build ur career dia.

op the best advice i can give is this sit her down have chat with her , tell u cant continue to date her since she is seeing someone else. It is either she pick u or the guy. If she picks u forgive her for whatever she might have done in d past and move on with her. if she picks d guy fine move on too nd forget about her . And mind u she can pick u and still be with d guy if u find out just end d relationship. Dont do things out of pity for her because u wont be able to move on with ur life.

I just finished NYSC some weeks ago and I'm in need for a Job. I studied elect/elect engineering in Lautech and I stay in Ibadan. I just want to start doing something even if it's not related to elect/elect. I will really appreciate any help from nairalanders. thanks

I'm so sure that those your guys are one of those small boys in 100lvl that are still with the mind set of what they have been told at home or those guys with fake admission or some yahoo guys in lautech because I can't deny that there is no yahoo guys in lautech, there is no sch in Nigeria without yahoo guys but it's not as bad as people outside d sch environment will tell.. I spent 6 years in Lautech . I had the same mindset too b4 I gained admission. Pls Ask Lautech students about the school and not your neighbours in other schools

Nobody is lying about your school here, These are just facts that anybody who is in lagos or have someone schooling there knows.. Sanity needs to return to that school..The sole aim of university education is no longer a top priority there.. The youths there have lost their focus in life and are doing another tin there thats explains the reasons why exam malpractise is like a norm there.. lecturers sleeping with young girls while the guys are sorting with the money they made from their yahoo runs.. I hope that you will be an exception there..

I spent 6years in that school and there was no case of cultism for even 1hr. And you are so sure of urself.. Bro change your mind set about LAUTECH.. people said a lot when I gained admmision into that school too but 75% were lies.. stories they heard from afar
