That was a figure of speech, I was pointing out to you that you thread carefully when discussing sensitive issues. how will making you pregnant result in the passport, are you the traditional type that believes you have to get married when you are pregnant?

I'm aware that it's a figure of speech and I fully understand the meaning. I assure you that's not what I think of any of you. But to answer your question, yes, I would not want to have a baby out of wedlock if I were to get pregnant. I'm not sure what his views are about this but I'm sure he knows that's how I feel. But I was just wondering if pregnancy alone could help someone gain citizenship. You all said no, and I thank you for answering my question.

The thread was about united states immigration laws and whether or not a foreign man can become a citizen by getting an american woman pregnant.

The pill is not the only form of contraception. There's the injection, and u don't have to worry when he cums in u. But u will have to worry about STDs, still. There's also the implant. You're 23, u should be able to do your research. Visit a family clinic!!

All forms of contraception are unsafe and unnatural. Like I said before my sister has been on more than one type of birth control and they ALL gave her problems. I've already made my choice regarding that.

But let's just say he is actually a faithful boyfriend, and that he doesn't want a baby with u just for the sake of getting papers, your 23 are u ready to have a baby??

Who says I've only been tested once? I've been tested more than once. Sometimes I think I wouldn't mind having his baby but I know now is too soon.

You must have heard a lot about this country, but when you come on here there are no monkeys behind the keyboards but very real and successful people. Pardon me to be harsh on you but if a Nigerian is trying to get you pregnant the first thing you do is go to your country's immigration website and see for sure if that can make him a citizen before coming here to accuse Nigerians of what is already a sensitive issue. It was stupid dumb and very naive of you but only shows why you would equate being pregnant to citizenship.
At 23 you should know that men are not predisposed to withdrawal, at 23 you should know how to get pills which I am pretty sure cost less than a dollar, your lesson is simple, this website is full and teeming with proud Nigerians, questions especially those bothering on our pride as a country would not be taken lightly.

I love Nigerian men and think nothing but good of them. The ones that I know are all in college and doing something good in ther lives. I know what pills are but I've done research and they are harmful to the body and reproductive system. My sister took more than one form of birth control and it gave her all sorts of problems. I 'm not too worried about getting pregnant because I know how to avoid it. I didn't know that I would offend anyone by asking this question or i would not have asked it. I was just was just trying to rule out all possibilities. Sorry it offended you.

i didn't come here to ask of anyone's opinion about what choice of birth control i choose to use. and why would i know the ways of becoming a citizen of this country? I was born here! Immigration laws have never been an issue to me. I never intended to bash anyone, and of course I asked about a specific nationality, cuz Nigerian is what he is. If he were anything else I woulda asked the question pertaining to that nationality. Obviously I have nothing against Nigerian men if I am sleeping with one! Even more than that I consider him to be my friend and I care about him. So please stop accusing me of having some hidden intent of trying to bash Nigerians.

I never made a remark about Nigerian men. I asked a question about a specific Nigerian Man. Every possible scenario went through my head, not just that he needed citizenship.

Some Nigerian men when told of their nice and princely role at hitting the jackpot and getting a woman pregnant at an occasion of an unprotected sex, their usual response is, "how could it be? We only did it once,". Maybe that's not the case with him but he's still living in that illusion that it takes time for a woman to get pregnant. You don't come here to tag everyone as the same and that seems like what MOST American women do and like I suggested earlier, stop talking to those stupid friends of yours.

well we've had unprotected sex more than once and now he doesn't even pretend to pull out. he comes inside of me every time. he doesn't know that I avoid my fertile days though.

I know for a fact that women that do everything right to get pregnant still only have a 15-20% chance of becoming pregnant each month. If I avoid the time period where I ovulate altogether my chances are zero. The egg only lives for two days after being released. So i abstain from sex a whole week before I am due to ovulate. It's worked so far.

Well, what you said he did is nothing new. I have in the past had sex with girls (who I had tested) without condoms, they'd tell me not to pour it in there but I eventually did and when they ask me, I lied about it or simply keep quiet; I did say a couple of times that I didn't because I think she'd know already and asking me is like pretense or just wanting to know what I'd say. Seriously, that didn't make me a liar and I can't categorize that as a lie. And what's the meaning of having sex without a condom when you know he shouldn't offload into you?

Your accusation and observation hold no water - it makes not even the least of senses.  Look, stop all these misconceptions and concentrate on your relationship if at all it means anything to you and stop talking to those dumb and foolish friends of yours who think they know anything when they can hardly spell their names let alone knowing what goes on in the world of immigration.

Of course I've heard of all of the above. Maybe I am being foolish but I've known this man for 3 years and I've been tested since becoming sexually active with him. I do trust that he will not bring me back an STD. As for birth control I just avoid having sex during my fertile periods.

No, I have nothing to hide I just didn't want to sound graphic. But we agreed he would pull out and he didn't. when he finished he pretended to ejaculate in the sheets but he had actually already ejaculated inside me. I asked where he ejaculated at and he said the sheets. I checked when he got up and the sheets were dry and I umm wasn't. I told him that I knew he didn't ejcaulate in the sheets and he lied about it. I said that i would go to get the morning after pill so that I won't get preggo and he told me it was a waste of money. Anyway a week later he told me that he did ejaculate inside of me and i asked him why he lied and he said that never lied.

A Nigerian trying to get you pregnant? I think he's as dumb as the dumbest man in the world, if he's not the dumbest. Getting you pregnant doesn't in any way get him citizenship unless you're both married. I'm not sure what he stands to get, but he can be able to stay in the US for as long as he wants to, either by upping his status or by renewing his visa which will cost him almost nothing. Generally, if he's looking to get citizenship or a resident permit, I don't think this is one of the requirements.

Why I say he's dumb is, if he's trying to get you pregnant for the sake of some citizenship papers, then I doubt he's a Nigerian at all - and if he is, he's the most stupid. I'm sure he knows that child support can wreck even the richest man in the world and there's no way he can escape that when y'all start having problems. It's either he goes to jail, goes bankrupt or he's bundled out the United States.

If he knows immigration rules, I don't think he's trying to get any sort of upgraded residential status in the States, rather I'd advise you talk to him and know what's up with him and I'm sure there lies your answer. If I were your man, and I have no undertone intention, yet, you think this of me, I'll break up immediately.
