Ibadan is a great city. I've just been unable to get a job.

Are children involved? Instability can affect them. Career or not. I recently left a 6 figure paying job with official car because I was transferred to Lagos and my baby/ Husband is in Ibadan. The only problem is how to handle it without having regrets. If not taking the 80k job will come back to haunt you, I'll advise you do. However, as someone said above, is d 80k permanent. Will d boo relocate again?

I always have passion for software development and am managing with a Hub in Abuja taking 45k, I relocated my family and not up-to 3months to Abuja with this pending when a better offer comes, hubby is a very understanding type and knows wifey is a career person. Now, Dangote Academy GETS (graduate Engineers Training scheme) gave me an offer 80k monthly at obajana kogi State. Is it worth taking the offer? Or I should be positive and remain in Abuja considering my family, who knows the kind of experience or skills I would get from the Dangote academy GETS? I want to weigh and compare both. Help me pls. I'm either schooling or working so its been really hard for me. The other day, I had to make chinchin out of boredom. I'm out searching because I feel if I was working, my maternity leave will be for 3months.

I would suggest you take time to nurse your baby till at least 6 months before starting a new job. While you are at it, think of any other thing you can do in case the job does not come at the time you want it.

You can entertain yourself with you tube videos on whatever you have always desired to learn but had no time for.

Again, have you tried LinkedIn for job opportunities. Market yourself well with your profile. I'm sure you'll be smiling soon.

Good evening mothers. I've been in the anon mode since early July but I need to come out now. I was transferred at work to Lagos in February from Ibadan while I was 4months gone to a higher position that required me doing 3weeks travels to different parts of the country and 1week in Lagos. My husband is in Ibadan. I ended up becoming anaemic at some point (Ftm) and well at 8months, my family insisted I quit. I've been home since End of May till I had my baby early July. I recently started reapplying but I haven't gotten any offer yet. My husband insists we all stay in Ibadan as he doesn't think I can cope alone with d baby and work in Lagos (I've also realized that Lagos stress in not for the faint hearted). The reason for my Epistle is that I need a job in Ibadan. I have a B.Sc (2.1) and a M.Sc in one of the basic medical courses. I am however open to all offers if I can be trained as I learn fast. Please Ibadan mothers, help a bored mum. Housewife life isn't for me as I'm losing myself daily. God bless you.

Was @ first bank Abk today and d lady in charge of the Sch fees Acc couldn't pay for me. She said she keeps getn a msg that I should pay 1k modification fees. She told me to call UI to rectify it (Like say their number dey go). Anyway I left firstbank undeterred and was able to pay @ Stanbic. I am writing this 'Epistle' to sensitize those who got d same response as I did.

While staring @ my admission letter all I could think of is whether UI has a post graduate student association and if I'll prefer to go for Vice_President or Welfare Secretary. I never do clearance o. Lol. Congrats to y'all that got admitted. To others, your time will definitely come.

Are u sure the phone number u registered wt is available cos d invite us through text nd I was later called by someone who I suppose is d Secretary of the department if u didn't get still I'll advise u come for d test since u scored well above d required mark to qualify for an invite. Meanwhile d test is said to be by 8:30am on Monday which will be followed by oral interview by 10am all in d HOD's office wish u d very best in d exams nd interview
