I took only the print out of my online application, passport, priority payment print out and that was it, I sent every other document to my spouse through DHL...

At the VAC office, they requested for my TB cert and the sponsor appendix form and I told them I had already sent it, they wanted to make a big deal of it.... I just stated on the form the VAC people gave me and submitted that every other document has been sent to my sponsor and will be sent to Sheffield...

Hope this helps

Please I need help ooo. I want to pay for IHS , how do I go about it since there is a restriction on the maximum amount to pay with Master card? Also on my spouse visa application, I have the following documents: sponsor letter of Employment, contract, letter of support, letter from landlord, bills, payslips, bank statements, wedding invitation, marriage certificate, pictures ( engagement, traditional, wedding, and other pictures during visits), flight tickets, whatsapp logs, Skype logs, email logs, phone logs. Please are the above documents correct or do I need to add more?
As for the IHS payment, I think your spouse should make the payment because of the restriction on your card...

Hi All,

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone on this forum... for the informations and everything....

So I applied for a spouse visa on the 23rd of August 2016.... I asked on this forum if it would be wise to still apply for PRIORITY VISA as I have been denied visas for UK and the US and I was advised not to apply for a PRIORITY VISA.... but I couldn't wait for the 12weeks so I risked it and went ahead to apply for a PRIORITY VISA...........

And I was granted the Spouse visa today.... smiley ...

So if you have £450 extra to risk for a PRIORITY VISA, it might be worth taking a shot.. who knows you might be lucky...

Please find my timeline below

18th August 2016 Application submitted online
22nd August 2016 Paid for Priority online
23rd August 2016 Biometrics done at VAC Ikeja
23rd August 2016 TLS updates to state application has been transferred to UKVI
24th August 2016 supporting docs were posted to Sheffield
24th August 2016 email from UKVI application has been received in Sheffield, UK
25th August 2016 TLS updated Your UK visa application has been received by UK Visas & Immigration
20th September 2016 Email from UKVI, A decision has been made on your UK Visa application
21st September 2016 TLS updated UK Visas & Immigration has now assessed your UK visa application and made a decision
22nd September 2016 Documents returned to sponsor in the UK
23rd September 2016 TLS updated application ready for collection Your passport and any returned supporting documentation have now arrived back at the TLScontact UK and I picked it up on same day... smiley

Thanks a lot

You were refused and you reapplied and was given?
Yes I was initially refused a US visa and I reapplied a week after with some extra documents and I was given...

So can I now apply for the Priority visa or its not advisable?

Thanks

That is just the truth, there is nothing to clarify. You can't use it If you have been previously refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA or a Schengen country
Hello Justwise,

Does it make any difference if you've been refused a US visa which you were later given, can you now go ahead with the priority visa or no?!..

Thanks

Glory be to God all mighty ....this has been a long time coming but on the 29th July I received my passport with entry clearance level to the United Kingdom.

We paid for priority but due to previous applications made in uk that had been rejected this meant priority was void. BUT the wait was worth it.

To the main guys on this forum you know yourselves God bless you all. Thanks for setting up such a forum because if it wasn't for all the things we read here this message I am sending would not have been the case.

I will post my time line in bit.. and just to let you know this message was typed from the confort of my home in london bless you all tongue grin
Congratulations...smiley.. I am also thinking about paying for Priority, so you advise I don't because I have been refused a UK Visitor visa before?... & also how long did yours take?

Mrsbebe:
Hi MoAbs,

I think the length of the visa is fine. You can also watch the video on youtube on how to fill in the application form.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PYQeSh2mq0
I hope it will be helpful for other parts as well.
Thanks a lot Mrsbebe for the video, it was very helpful...

Please I have another question, I would like to pay for Priority visa but I have been refused entry to the UK with a visitor visa and also Non immigrant visa for the US (which is was later granted) an it states on Teleperfomance website that you are not eligible for a Priority visa if I have been refused visa to to UK before..

Please what do you advise...

Thanks

I'm a newbie on Nairaland or any other forum to be honest... LOL!!
I'll be applying for a spouse visa very soon and you guys have made me go over my application like to million times...

I have included my wife letter from her company, payslips, P60, we both surpass the £18,600 mark, I have included my payslips too, pictures, whatsapp messages (just 2days every month from 2012 - 2016) hope that's enough, her British and Nigerian Passport biopage and stamps, utility bills from he apartment before but she moved to her folks place because i'll be coming soon so we can look for an apartment together & we also included the utility bills from her folks and also a letter from them, flights & hotel bookings made together, the refusal of entry I was given when I tried to apply for a visitor's visa some yea back (also included that) smiley....
I think that's about it.... Pls if there's anything else I'll need to add, I will really appreciate it if it can be pointed out...
