PMB is free to break the law to sanitise immigration & customs as far as I am concerned.  Pray to never have any dealings with either agency, there is not a single honest soul in either outfit.. DSS did a background check on the assistants compt of both outfits, only the immigration boss was manageable & was thereby made acting comptroller, No single person in the customs top hierarchy could be salvaged!!! 14 Likes |

Fayose has always gotten on my nerves with his antics but this is so cool & on point!!. Unfortunately my Ekiti people may begin to have issues with him cos some of them felt strongly about this, believing he is no longer their friend. |

President Goodluck Jonathan was in power for six years, yet there were no significant development in the Niger Delta.This argument would have been Valid if PMB was cut with the same cloth as JONA, but we all know that isn't so!!! We are a multi ethnic,& diverse & mutually distrusful lots, so appintments should follow that pattern so everyone will be able to identify with the govt & have confidence of equal representation, that's all!! My grouse with PMB's appts (no complaint about the CVs of the appointee) so far is that the tag of blind tribalism that he was given that was so hard to surmount in 3 failed bids is what we (unapologetic stan) are still being asked to explain everyday!!! Anyway, I decided long ago to be on the side of Nigeria & not any politician (at the end of the day 99.9% of them are not worth it) so ... 2 Likes |

Look for another location to get hospital & Dr, when you get to chicago, you can then walk into either. 2..This is a PSA; Do not go in through chicago POE, it is a straight F***ed up POE, go in through JFK... |

@stadora, 3. things.. 1. I respect you for going through with this pregnancy, it takes a lot of guts, i give you big props.. Then... 2.No one can help you when you are unwilling to help yourself, as @Chinwendym accurately surmised its pride that is the problem & not that you have no one... I will not advise you to move in with the person who impregnated you by force, it will never end well cos its crystal clear the guy/man wants zilch to do with you. Though it's a good idea idea to inform his relatives just for formality sake& establish a root for the baby if you really do want to keep this baby which is highly suspect, considering you are trying everything possible to make sure there is no link between your regular life&gestation period (running to abuja {big anonymous city where its easy to blend in}, staying with a stranger, girdling up to deflect probing eyes at that wedding are red herrings) which brings me to the 3rd & most important question 3..Do you plan on running away from your family, & friends forever ? 8 Likes |

My experience with custom was at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport ladt year--- on a return from a vacation. As is customary, with Nigerians/Africans being a communal environment, my spouse & i got clothes for my kids, our siblings & respective nieces & nephews... We filled the normal 23kg bags & came in with no drama, claiming our bag and about to step out of the departure area we were accosted by custom officers who asked to "value" the contents of our baggages & proceeded to fine us 100k for import duties on personal effects which really got me so angry to i muttered "extortion" under my breath.. One of the officers overhead & promptly asked that our bags be seized & we present ALL RECEIPTS, eventually we parted with 20k as settlement cos one of the officers pleaded on behalf of my spouse.. There is not one single honest soul in that outfit!! 2 Likes |
