@Modestgal,
What young age range are you looking for?

If you can't find them in the big cities like Ontario, then the young non-student, and unmarried Nigerian Muslims won't be in the small towns either because most immigrants gravitate more to the big cities to find work.

Second, I didn't realise when I first noticed your profile and posts years back that you're a Muslim until now... You never gave a hint or sounded like one. Lol. But that's okay.wink

Why not create a Website or
social media presence where the target young audience you want can meet and drive targeted web
traffic to it? Did you know there are
over 7 million Muslims in the United States alone?... That's way more than in Canada.

I may do this. Nice suggestion.

What few countries have you been to so far besides Nigeria and Canada?
I usually fly to Oyo, Ogbomosho,Saki, Gbogan, Iresa,Ila,Eti oro, Ijesha. I've been to all these modern cities more than 5times each. Just fly from one to another

1. The vast majority of Muslims in Nigeria live in the North, not West as you wrongly put it.

2. Fallacy of hasty generalisation. Granted, the fertility rate is higher in Northern Nigeria but it would be incorrect to say other regions are far behind. The difference ain't that much.

3. You knew 40 non Muslims that migrated to Canada. Do you genuinely think anyone gives a f..k about that? How is that even relevant?

No malice intended, but it's either you are high, trolling or an idiot or probably all.
I'm referring to the Western Muslims that have no sense. I have no business with Northern Muslims. And yes, count the number of people doing well and Muslims have the lowest percentage. Many Muslims are in Ibadan, and Oyo state, and all they are good for is touts, check the numbers of touts, you will see that majority are Muslims. And I replied because the guy or you said you don't have money for Visa. Maybe when you start thinking like a reasonable human beings, you will be able to afford some meals

Well, lots of us are here in Nigeria and some of us really would love to move abroad, but for some reasons (majorly financial) we can't. Other reasons are; difficulty getting visa, longstanding tradition( middle East is the preferred option not the West) and so on.

My take.
Shows that Muslims are still the poorest in Western Nigeria. When you guys waste money and Mary plenty wives and not train your children, your christian counterpart are growing.
May God help the Muslim Western people to have sense. Continue to say meh lolohunwi. I know more than 40people that have entered Canada, none of them are Muslims. Even the few Muslims here aree not practicing muslims so it hard for me to mingle with them. They don't pray or enjoy Muslim activities that I enjoy

This is beautiful, but girls should stop SIMPING for men. Don't cook for him if he has not married you even after marriage, cooking has to be 50/50. Or collect your pay per hour for the cooking
With the rate at which Nigerian guys are becoming misogynist whatever nonsense, its hightime ladies gave themselves senses. Tbh, we have more foolish girls than men, women disgracing wwomey. Since I was a child, I have seen many ladies, cook, clean,do laundry for a useless man that would end up dumping them. Some would even go as far as helping mother in-law that would always hates on them. And calling their boyfriend's siblings Boda ofo

As a feminist, if a guy doesn't know how to cook,do laundry, we cannot date you. My spec is a guy that can cook, clean, laundry as well as spend on me. My own feminism doesn't share any useless bills,it means i would happily be single if a guy cannot cook for me.
That's because as a lady, nature has already cheated us,and its 80/20. We carry 80responsibilities, men carry 20. The 80 is in being pregnant and giving birth, imaginne having to go to heaven and come back just because of children that would bee both ours. Can you count the number of girls that have died as a result of childbirth? Its uncountable, what about labour pain ontop a child that would be ours, yet men has the effontery to ask what do women offer? We offer the world,we are life in itself.
Ladies stop marrying guys that can't cook, clean,do laundry for you, you are short changing yourselves

Just PC recording/Camera recording. My Cameras image quality is also good

Going by what you described, if I'm correct... I can handle the editing, you do the recording.

For clarity sake:
You meant those kind of videos whereby the original video is playing in the full screen, while there's a second of the person or the page owner on the extreme bottom or any other... The person is either reacting to the main video, by gestures, expression or talking.

I call them remarkers or reactors, reason why they have their faces is to prevent copyright strikes by the social Media platforms they are using.

If this what you mean, then it's very simple and achievable.

Solutions:
You're going to need 2 devices, this is get the perfect reaction that sync with the original video.

Device 1 is where you have the video you want to react to, play it there.... It could be PC or phone.

While device 2 is for recording yourself using the front camera or whatever video recording device you have... reacting to the video your watching from device 1.

When you're done, you can contact any video editor, he/she can handle the final stage by combining the two videos or....

If want me to handle the editing party, you can reach out to me.

Hope I've been able to answer your question or clarify what you seek?
Thanks but I have time constraints, looking to do something fast just like zoom recording where I can actually watch tthe movie andd show myself, my main problem with zoom ijs PC camera isn't as sleek as my Camera. But I love the fact that Zoom is very fast,i wouldn't need to start joining clips,i will just record my screen and bam,im good to post. I would also be pausing to make comments on the video im watching, because that's the essence of creating the video. I was thinking there would be an app for it, something better than zoom,I also don't like the square zoom feature, I want a circle or other shapes. Of course im still gonna edit it but I want the recording part to be fast. I know how to use my Camera as webcam though, maybe i would try that sha if i don't see other suggestion

That's Great!
That's how I did it too. I had a job and I learnt lots of new skills in-depth with no pressure but pure passion for knowledge.
Nice to know.
Mine is a higher education,so they have curriculum we follow and there's a course for html, css, another course for python, another for Java, another for csharp. Its like how we did in uni where you take different courses. Makes it very less of mental stress for me. I don't do diy shit, too mentally tasking. But school makes it so much organized
Learning and working makes learning so easy as no pressure at all.

That's an interesting mindset you don't see that often. It's a good thing in the long run, you will always find more roles should you, qant to move to something else.
Its quite common, not just in Nigeria and with females. People change their career many times. A doc can become a lawyer and vice versa. Its just an extra 4-5years once you have saved enough money to spend for the 4years, talkless of programming. Programming ISS one of the easiest knowledge to have because theree are resources everywhere, YouTube, different online courses andd it doesn't require certification (license)to practice like other jobs. I still don't know why Nigerian ladies prefer to learn tailoring, make up and other hand skills more than tech courses
Sewing skills is harder for me to learn and practice more than programming but I know alot of people would disagree. I'm learning for many reasons, and one of the main reasons is to motivate girls that its easy to learn.

Sometimes, all it takes to learn is to have someone tell you its easy and that would spark the motivation. Ass im seeing it,i would end up being a teacher than actually work with it.

Nothing is difficult and you have the right mindset already, but it takes a lot of works to be job-ready as a .Net developer.

You want to create a modern data-driven web application making use of the modern cross-platform .Net framework (also known as .Net Core), you need to know at least all of:

1. HTML,CSS, JavaScript and/or Bootstrap/jQuery
2. C# and OOP
3. T-SQL (Microsoft's flavour of SQL) and SQLServer
4. Entity Framework Core (Microsoft's flagship ORM) with code-first approach.
5. ASP.Net Core MVC

Learning C# with Winform/console may be interesting to you, but to be job-ready, you need more than just the language.

Just go on LinkedIn now and check the available .Net jobs, you'll find that they all state the above and more as requirements (some include knowledge of React/Angular and creating of web services/API/RPC as well as familiarity with microservice architecture for intermediate/entry level developer jobs).

Enjoy the process, but C# is just the beginning.
I don't mean to be a killjoy, but if your prof tells you the next thing to learn is ADO.Net for data access, no mind am o....
Of course, I'm through with Css,Html, and Java, and boostrap infact we are through with UIUX. C sharp is in another course entirely. We have even done python, but i don't know shit of that till I go back on it
Also,I didn't know people learn Csharp alone though. And im not learning it for jobs,im learning because I love it. I really don't care about jobs, i have a job that i love so much already and its a leadership position. Even though I know there may be money in programming,im not doing it for that. I just have zeal for learning new skills every new year

I tried reaching you after I saw one of your post where people wanted you to add them to Muslim platform (in Canada) on the other thread, but it seems you're selective as to whom you respond to even without any valid premise to do.

Try to be open a bit and eschew from being somewhat saucy, as not everyone is here to scam you. I base in the US and I'm now considering making Muslim friends in your domain.

I had an undergrad classmate back in Nigeria then, a female Muslim now in Canada, I lost contact with her, and I feel it could just be you lol. Same attitude .

.

Louder bro, let her be open to Muslim guys in the US too, practicing brothers are here that might be very serious with her and her single colleagues.
Lol, that was a bad advice, and its okay for the sister to say what is haram is haram. Shaking and Hugging is prohibited in Islam.
Also, which uni did you attend in Nigeria?

It is very popular in Nigeria too. Many large organizations in Nigeria (banks, oil companies, Telcos etc) use the .Net ecosystem for their applications: the .Net framework is designed for creating Enterprise applications.

It is not for the faint-hearted though, because .Net is designed as a full-stack developer framework (same code base for web, mobile (android and iOS), desktop (windows, Mac) , RESTful HTTP services with templates for front end frameworks like Angular, React etc plus very easy integration of cloud technologies); you can't afford to stop learning.

Your job may require you to create/manage the backend for huge applications in addition to creating/managing the front end and the web services that provides the data for your front-end to consume.

.Net gives you all the tools you need to make your application as huge as you can imagine and C# is the language of choice.

Recently, a UNILAG 200 level student told me they have to learn C# in their departure though he is not a computer science student.

NOUN Post graduate degree in Computer Science also requires you to learn C# only (Confirm on their website).

There are many .Net developer jobs at these big organisations and it takes quite some time to get the vacancies filled because the skill set is not as abundant as Java in Nigeria at the moment.
I don't believe its difficult,i think it would be difficult if someone doesn't understand the preliminaries, how it works. Actually right now, im not good with the syntax at all, but I understand how it works. If someone doesn't understand the preliminaries, then to grasp it would be very difficult

Hi guys

Who knows how to do all these zoom like screen recording YouTube videos. Where an individual watches a movie or something and have it at a corner in a circle while the video shows
Its very common with skit watchers, they watch a skit, and do funny faces

Is it app they use? I don't think video editing can achieve that because it's more like they are screen recording, just like screen recording a zoom call where the host is watching a movie, and the host now shows in a small circle at a side

I used CSharp in Aptech, I built a WPF Application, and worked on some ASP.NET MVC 3 with Razor and the last I touched CSharp was 4.0, till I followed the JVM.

CSharp is nice, I worked on a Database project, it was called Entity to SQL before it became EF, CSharp has some advanced features like LINQ, Extension Methods and Delegates.

I wonder why CSharp is not as popular as it should be.
Well, its popular where I am and my prof loves it so much, and I love it very much as well. I'm still learning it though

It's usually common for me to look youngest where I work. There is this place I work in Toronto that they assumed I'm the youngest. I guess it's because im black because im sure im older than one Middle Eastern Girl that we work together. For some reason, when they are on break, they would make the comment "you know she's still young". I usually laugh it off but seriously, I wish they knew how much I dislike such statement

In the bigger organization where I work, last week Wednesday, my manager made same comment, she said did I see some young girls, around my age. The girls I saw there would be around 16years but they are fat girls. I chuckled and said non of them are my age mates

I went to supervise a program and one of the teen girls thought I was part of them, lol. And the coordinator actually felt like we were mates, someone that was employed on college cert.
Just because they are fat, they would assume they are older which is highly unethical. Or because they have children

I go just dey look them like movie and apply to other places and give them sack letter. I've not just had time to apply for any job.

Why haven't I ever come across Nigerian young Muslims in Canada. Na only Somalians, and other Africans. Never Nigerians

I mean those that aren't married and still young. I've met many old ones, most of the things they want to discuss are not interesting, total turn off.

I don't want students as well, I hardly play with students. But I haven't seen any student as well. I've come across many non Muslim girls
Or is it that they are out of the big cities? Never in my life felt like leaving Ontario
Please guys,if you are in other province, let me know
