fantabulous08: I also have a low gpa before evaluation (2.23). The WES evaluation I did helped me push it to 2.67 so don’t use the online calculator for it, I’ll advice that you create an account with WES, follow their website, make necessary payment. Most schools will at least accept 2.7 and anything slightly away from 2.7 will be on conditional basis. Thank you for this, I actually opened an account and paid WES for the evaluation. Thank you for reaching out nonetheless. Appreciate |

Nozino: Don’t mention.
I doubt if most master’s will accept a 2.4/5.0 scale for Msc. If you do have work experience, you can email the graduate coordinator and they may make an exception for you. It isn’t uncommon for people with low gpa and extensive work experience to get into Masters program in the US. I would also take the GRE/GMAT and apply to HBCUs if I were you .
If you don’t have work experience, you fit runs am. As long as you’ve graduated for some time. In this US waka, you have sell/hype yourself.
Get good references too. In fact, write your own reference and give to your references to upload. Again, thank you so much. I have some years of experience, I think I'll email the coordinators for exemption based on my years of experience. I'll update the house as things progresss. Thank you. |

Nozino: Hello,
Do you have a Bsc? Was your cgpa higher before the evaluation? If it was at least around 2.6/2.7 you should be able to get admission into a master’s degree program. Thanks for your prompt response. Yes, I have a Bsc, My CGPA before evaluation was actually 2.4. Do you know of any Uni that would accept a 2.4 CGPA for direct Masters? Thanks |

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Please, I have an undergraduate CGPA of 2.4 after evaluation from WES.
I'd like to know if there is any University that would accept me into a MSc Program with a 2.4 CGPA. My interest is Business Analytics or any I.T related Course.
I'd appreciate a response from People in the house.
Thanks |
