Good morning my nairaland family...I can see debates about what NIMASA package is.The truth of the matter is the agency pays very well but to what extent?
NIMASA will never put your total package in the offer letter,what they only do is to put your grade and your salary band.

NIMASA uses what is called NESS(NIMASA ENHANCED SALARY STRUCTURE)The only thing I can confirm to us is the level 10 here takes a total package of 32m p.a.You can the do the math.This is from an insider.

Some Federal Govt agencies pay very well ooooo...

Please if anyone has a confirmed package for 12,13,14,15 and 16 should please let us know.

This is not true.Nobody has been given an APL.
What happened last week /2 weeks ago was just calls to selected few to forward their contact and NIN

No letter of APL issued.

Probably first batch might resume NOVEMBER.

Pls for Nimasa a colleague came to my office last week and confirmed his cousin collected ApL but I ask him to call the cousin in my present he did but the guy did not pick,I confirmed from the guy we pray together but he said No idea,I have a place I used to sit in the evening,those guys are working with NLNG, Seplat, Nimasa, NMDPRA, NUPRC.if I need information they used to help me get from their place of work.....

Bro just dead the thing, I think the recruitment has been suspended, no one is responding. We've reached out some people, they said they don't know what's going on there. Except we get some inside info

Dead bawo.When we are eagerly waiting to be called.The are equally trying to do internal promotion too.The DG is a very meticulous man that wants to follow every protocol needed for the recruitment.Trust me the Management is still very much on it but following the processes not even with this fake agency saga out there.Trust me,just a little patience all will be well.

Why should he/she do that?Noboby has been employed yet.Its a process and still ongoing.
Do not say what you do not know please.

I disagree with you especially the last paragraph.Level 15 is not Principal Manager.It is Assistant Director.There is no level one cannot get to in NPA ,Promotion might be delayed though because of FCC and also space available.Promotion in Civil Service could be by writing Exams,Appraisal,Presentation and Interview.Adding all these make you get promoted to the next grade.
Although when it comes to AD and above,there could be Political interference because of the pecks that comes with the GRADE LEVEL.
So it is not entirely based on appointment.You will do your part and possibly do your push from influencers.

As per NRS and NPA,one should look at the career progression,both of them are revenue collecting agencies and if my information is correct,NRS supposed to handover the collection entirely to NRS hence some of the reason for massive recruitment by NRS...

When did NPA start paying their new salary? I have a friend who is an Assistant Manager in NPA and he told me the pay is a little over N700k monthly and his upfront is N7m per annum. The other benefits are leave allowance and money from training allowance since they go for at least six (6) trainings annually and you can be lucky to be included in foreign training.
For NRS, I know their current monthly pay as Assistant Manager is N590k monthly however, they also get a quarterly pay of about N600k should the establishment meet their target for that quarter, they get money quarterly for wardrobe (not sure of the amount), they get two bulk grants (Relief and Subsistence), and lastly a 13th month salary.
In my opinion, pay wise, I am not convinced NPA does much better than NRS. Interestingly, both agencies are due for salary review by the end of the year.

Career wise, according to him, Principal Manager (Level 15) seems the highest level you can get to in NPA which means levels 16 and 17 are based on appointment. In NRS, currently, you can rise up to Director although the higher you go, the more challenging it becomes; however, the year you are going to retire out, they move you to the next level even if you are not due so that you can get a better severance package and retirement benefit. Which means, it is better to pursue a career in NRS than NPA, my humble opinion.

I am sure this salary should be as far back as 2021/2023...

Most agencies stylishly added peculiar allowance to their salaries when PBAT resumed....

Your employer can ask for this at any time depending on the level of the risk appetite.

Possibly they review the risk and decide to increase the infoSec awareness

In this case it’s different. It cuts across al staff. I’ve been working with them for about 6yrs now.

This has to do with confidentiality of information. Some do call it NDA (None disclosure Agreement) Information is shared on need to know basis.There are information that organizations hold sacred to themselves.... You cannot disclose to outsiders.

I don't know where people get information as if they work Management of NIMASA.What a source confirmed to me was that the list has gone to FCC.If you take a closer look at the Staff composition in NIMASA,South south still has the highest stake followed by North East and South East.Lets the faithfuls keep hope alive please.Congratulations in advance.
