Christianity Etc › Re: Buhari’s Ministerial List Shows That He Belongs To Somebody – Cardinal Okogie by Mogidi: 6:19pm On Oct 17, 2015
”When I was listening to the broadcast of the incumbent president during his swearing–in, I beat my chest, can this man say, those things were written by him? I ask myself is this the Buhari I knew 2011, that wrote this? Even though it was written for him, can he not sit down and read and re-read again, and ask himself, if he can follow all those things written down. Looking at the statement he made ‘I belong to everybody but nobody’. Look at the list of ministers, he belongs to nobody, I laughed. It means he belonged to APC.
But we said the same thing before the election.

jaymichael:
Not when the impostor "Eze ndigbo" meddled or rather usurped the power of the Deji by choosing the leadership of the market which by customary law falls within the purview of the Deji of Akure.
Thanks for explaining it, thought it was the Deji meddling.

A King passed a law in his domain stating that the Eze of Akure had been removed, instead of the Eze to humbly beg that the law be reversed in the most quiet and diplomatic manner available, the Eze organised a protest questioning his removal, to me that was utter show of disrespect and I support the Oba for his action.
It would be wrong for him to call himself the Eze of Akure, if however he was the Eze Ndigbo of Akure, I see no justification in the Deji meddling in the affairs of his Igbo subjects.

These bloggers usually publish falsehood against high profile individuals and request for advert commitments before such falsehoods will be taken off the website. Bankers, especially bank managing directors, it was gathered, have been the worst victims of this trend.

Because that wasn't the logo I was expecting?

Or is Edo no longer a state in Nigeria, what's the reason for your question?
This was what I responded to:

tpiander:
Needs redesigning for sure.

huh

I thought Edo is among the top art design places?
Was this logo designed by someone from Edo state?

Does this logo belong to Edo state?

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has adopted report of the committee chaired by Ike Ekweremadu, which recommended that the north should produce the next president.
This is a master-stroke by PDP since Buhari won't be contesting the 2019 election.

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said that the party has recovered from the disappointing loss it suffered by losing power at the centre in the last Presidential election.
At its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Thursday, at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, the PDP said it has already moved from pain, despair, soul- searching and have started the process of rebuilding confidence for a brighter future for the party.
Lies and propaganda can't be sustained forever, The future belongs to PDP.

PDP is already on life support. In the next two years, half of those in its NEC would have decamped to APC and the party will die off for good. They've outlived their usefulness already anyway.
There may not be APC in 2yrs if Buhari's DSS succeeded in hounding Tinubu outta town.

In a release made available to media houses in Abuja soon after the screening of Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, Mr. Aguiyi observed that the brilliant performance of the current Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),Dr. Kachukwu, during the senates’ screening, validated almost all the policies and actions championed and taken by the former Minister, which include: the unbundling of the NNPC to make it operate like a private company, introduction of stringent internal audit control mechanism, the PIB Bill, concern over the sustainability of the subsidy regime and shutting down of non performing refineries .
Recall that Dr. Kachukwu, while reacting to questions by senators, reechoed the reforms and footprints of Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke.

Boko Haram is still on rampage in the north.
Fulani herdsmen are still trespassing the farmlands outside their regions and armed with military weapons and their chief herdsman is still grinning and smirking in Aso Villa.
Kidnappers are still kidnapping.
Armed robbers are raiding banks in broad daylight.
Millions of Nigerian boys and girls are still out of school.
Millions of youths are still jobless and their future is not secure.
Ministers are going to be appointed based on partisan politics without ethics.
So, what has changed?
A new ruling party has replaced the old ruling party.
What else has changed?
Nothing more than that.
