Politics › Re: Mixed Reactions Trail Buhari’s Assets Declaration-PUNCH by Mogidi:
Considering Yar’Adua’s declaration of assets, analysts have described Buhari’s recent version as a clear departure from a full declaration of assets.
They labelled the declaration of assets as done by Buhari as having too many holes, saying Buhari should have specified the total number of his cars rather than stating that he has several cars, two of which he said were bought from his savings.
Buhari's partial declaration can only f0o0l the gullible and his core supporters.

Such items are destroyed for security reasons my dear, who knows whether or the food items was poisoned? And even if it wasn't poisoned, once they (Boko Haram) finds out it is given to take care of the IDPs, there's a possibility that they may devise such means to kill a lot of innocent persons living in IDPs camp.
There's no evidence to suggest the abandoned food items were poisoned, meanwhile we use our meagre resources to feed and clothe them in Edo state.

The secret police was said to have stormed the Hilltop Mansion based on security reports that suggested arms and ammunition were stored in a room there.
Its becoming apparent the way the present administration works. First they invade a location, second they plant whatever evidence they deem fit, third they announce to the gullible public Look what we found.

Buhari's evil intention is going to be gradual and systematic, same people orchestrated a botched accident on Akpabio, when it failed they raided Akwa Ibom. This is an attempt to muffle PDP in the Senate by targeting Akpabio.

The statement that half of the Internally Generated Revenue for Edo State is spent on Internally Displaced Persons is a fat lie.
The IDPs have sorely depended on the goodwill of generous individuals, faith-based organizations and other groups. It was only recently, sometime in August that the govt of Edo state stepped up their game and donated some relief materials to the IDPs. I am a living witness so I know what I am saying.

Go and ask your governor where he's siphoning the money meant to develop your state in terms of infrastructure to. Most communities in Benin city have no roads.

Please stop blaming your under-development to the IDPs taking refuge in Edo state. Let's embrace them for we all are brothers and sisters...
I suggest you keep them in your state if they are your brothers.

Politics › Lack Of Policy Hurts Nigeria's Economy As Buhari Marks 100 Days-Reuters by Mogidi(op): 8:20pm On Sep 04, 2015
By Alexis Akwagyiram and Julia Payne

LAGOS/ABUJA (Reuters) - Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has made sweeping changes in the oil sector and armed forces during his first 100 days in office but done little to convince experts that he has a clear strategy for Africa's biggest economy.

Buhari, a former military ruler, made Nigerian history in March by becoming the first candidate to defeat an incumbent president at the polls, after promising to crack down on corruption and crush a bloody insurgency by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.

Revellers in the capital Abuja celebrated his inauguration in May by chanting "Sai Baba", which means "All hail, father" in the Hausa language of northern Nigeria.

As Buhari prepares to mark 100 days in office on Saturday, his critics are now using the less flattering sobriquet "Baba Go Slow".

Chief amongst their complaints is the 72-year-old's decision not to appoint a cabinet until later this month, putting the economic policy of the country of 170 million people in limbo, and leaving the likes of the central bank to fill the vacuum.

Buhari's supporters say he has needed time to analyse the inner workings of ministries that have been run exclusively by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) since the return to civilian rule in 1999.

They point to his restructuring of the state oil company NNPC, whose board Buhari sacked in June, when he appointed an ExxonMobil executive as managing director. Crude oil sales account for around 70 percent of Nigeria's state revenues, and NNPC has been accused of failing to account for tens of billions of dollars in the last few years.
