I enjoy eating both recipes on it's own or sometimes served w/ white rice. ~We call BEB "Ah-Bor-Bor" it's mostly eaten w/ bread. . . so the common term is "Bread en Ahborbor" I havent eaten it w/ bread in ages tho! ~Some Useful Tips i googled that might help. . . Prepare Your Nail Bed You need to properly prepare your nail bed for the polish to adhere to it correctl! Your hands and nails should be nice and clean and dry and ready for the application of Polish. Double check to make absolutely sure your nails are completely free of oils if not,Prim your nails by saturating a cotton ball with nail polish remover and wipe each clean nail to remove any oils. More often than not, polish longevity has to do with making sure your nails are oil- and cream-free before applying polish! This is probably the MOST [/b]important reason your polish might not wear well. If you have any peely spots on your nail, go over them one more time with your 4 way buffer, and if you did not buff your nails during your manicure, do so right now, starting with the most abrasive side and finishing with the smoothest side, being sure to cover the whole nail surface lightly. This will make a tremendous difference in the overall look of your polish. [b]The Process apply the layers in the right order, including base coat (preferably a ridge-filler-type product), colour, and top coat; applying layers that are thick enough but not too thick. Base Coat What does a nail base coat do? Most good quality Base coats contain protein, aloe Vera, vitamin e, and/or calcium. These nutrients replenish brittle, dry nails with moisture, prevents breakage, splitting and peeling. Base coats also prevent nail polish from staining the nails. They also create a sticky adhesive base for the nail polish to "hold" onto. To remove stains from nails. Stay away from products that claim to be 2 in 1 base coat/top coat. Both are formulated to do two different jobs and it makes no sense to use the same for both jobs. Look for a calcium gel bas coat. Calcium gel will strengthen and help nails to grow faster. Nail polish Top Coat[/b]Top coats act as a protective barrier. They prevent nail polish from fading and chipping and give you a long lasting shine. To make your nail polish last longer, apply a layer of top coat every day. [b]NEVER shake your Polish Prepare the bottle by rolling it across the table, or between your palms, turning it upside down slowly just a couple of times. If shaken, this will almost definitely cause bubbles to appear in your polish. Same goes for the Base & Top Coat. Apply the color in three strokes only, the first down the center, and then one more on each side. Again, always start right next to the cuticle and pull the brush straight out, all the way off the end of the nail. By coating the end of your nails w/ base,nail polish or top coat,your polish last a lil bit longer from chipping! Polish is chemically designed to bond together, and as it all dries, it forms a coating that is much more durable if it all dries together. So i suppose whatever works for you! *Treat your nails carefully (wearing gloves, avoiding water, having minimal contact with soaps or cleansers, and not using the nails as tools). *Try not to remove and reapply polish more than once or twice a week, as it will dry out your nails. |

I also use a Top coat after i polish to give it that shiny effect! I've noticed it somewhat makes the polish last at least a couple of days more before i'll have to coat it again. I try as much as i can to avoid unnecessarily dipping my hands in water,but it can't always be helped especially while cooking,Regular Long baths/everyday shower/s. Truth be told i take pleasure in peeling off the chips so i aint exactly complaining https://www.labnol.org/assets/images/YahooSmileys/smileys70.gif ~Using a Base coat before applying polish is a must for me now! Sometimes i just use a nail strengthener! I Finally gave my tan nails (Fingers&Toes) from using Black polish too much the heave-ho! ~These are the brand names i use Rimmel,Revlon,Lancome,YSL,Boots No.7,NYC,OPI Nail Lacquer. . .if i was suppose to notice the difference between them & the Not-so-porpular brand names,i didnt/havent! I've learnt Price has no relation to how long a polish will last! ~Sometimes you dont find out how thick the formulations is untill after purchase,especially w/ dark colours! 1 Like |

~Now here's a telling admission if i do have to say so myself! I doubt anyone who watched Shirlena didnt think she's away w/ the ~If Children's Services get involved which i'm sure they will,she'll defo loose her daughter if found not competent to look after her! If the British newspapers are good at anything,it's dissecting every tinsy witsy bit of one's skeletons in their wardrobe & blowing things out of proportion!
