Jackson042: I don't know whose telling you all these bullshit!
Everyone is proud...
Male & female...
Isn't it the guy who humbles himself & makes the first approach to a girl they like?
Ask any girl to do the same... she'll tell you that "any girl who makes the first move is cheap & desperate"
Now tell me, isn't that pride?
Because I know that my American babes... if they see a guy they like, they approach him & start a conversation...
But African girls will stick to their "green light" bullshit! African girls wait for you to approach them because they 've been taught that a woman who approaches a man is too forward and cheap. |

The article is quite interesting and lucid.
Realism should not be mistaken for feminism.
The writer did not in anyway suggest that the female folks are free from certain misconceptions which stem from culture and traditions.
The basic thing is to acknowledge where you are wrong and make amends.
Ps: lots of ladies have an overwhelming sense of entitlement just because they are females. Which is obviously wrong especially in our time when the female gender have been given an almost equal playing ground with their male counterparts.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: So We Know Many Of You Are Experiencing Disappointment Over Your Non-selection. by Mollyallex(f): 9:35pm On Nov 28, 2017 |
A lot of people have complaints as regards Npower pre-selection and I understand their plight.
I might have had the urge to make unflattering remarks too for the mere fact that I was not pre-selected.
I say I might have, but I'm not doing so because I know a number of people who I'm very sure had absolutely no connection whatsoever but were pre-selected.
We are humans and we get hurt by certain situations but what makes us strong is how we handle these situations.
So let's not dwell on done deals, the issue of the presumed lack of transparency have already been over flogged.

Education › Re: 5 Things That Happen When You Graduate With A Poor CGPA by Mollyallex(f): 1:05pm On Jul 09, 2017 |
Anything worth doing is worth doing well, it baffles me how some people promote mediocrity by saying grades do not matter.
Grades does matter, at least it boosts your self esteem and I can't imagine an organization that goes by grades in recruiting considering a 3rd class graduate before one with first class honours or second upper.
Imagine comparing a third class graduate of Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford or other ivy league schools with one from a Nigerian university.
I don't believe anyone should start off anything in life with a mediocre mindset, always aim for the best, and make the sky your springboard. Even when you don't achieve your set out goals, you won't be far behind. |

Chriswazo: Nassarawa state is okay dear, u might be lucky to posted in their developed cities like Lafia, Akwanga and ......(I have forgotten the name ). Their government pays 20k per 4 months and is very regular as the next 4 months payment will be due next month. In my own assessment, the state is a little above average. I have been there, also, their permanent camp is among the best as is among the newest nysc camp sites. @Babena In addition to the above, my sis served in Nasarawa, Akwanga precisely and she did not bring back negative reports. Moreover, it's very close to Abuja. |

Additives: Please, my official date of birth is 1991 but I discover that NYSC use 1990 for me to verify my name. Please can I use my original DOB of 1991 for the registration. And if I use it, hope it won't affect my mobilization? Or what can I do? Thanks in anticipation for your response. I don't think year of birth is of a significant importance when verifying senate list...just try checking with another year ( I mean apart from '90 and '91 ) and see what happens. what I mean is, use ur original year of birth for reg. I hope av been helpful. |
