Well I had a dog called snoopy but my parents doesn't treat it like a family , when he died everyone just moved on like nothing happened .

And I had a parrot, very cute bird, moms forgot to feed it for like a week, poor bird died and that was the end .

But I don't think a dog should be a replacement to us human beings because they are just animals
