Hello Everyone,


I am planning to use $20k GIC certificate along with a loan to cover for my One year postgraduate certificate fees payment with a monthly repayments of $389.4 for 48 Months... I'm self sponsored and plan on stating on the LOE that my current Salary (N500,000) from where I'm currentoy Employed and Personal Business will cover for the Montly repayment while schooling in Canada...


Is this above a good strategy or should I pay full school fees and use pof to cover for the $20k cost of living for the Canada study visa... I'm avoiding this way because of the stress of explaining lump sums to the visa officer...

Please which of the options is better. Your feedbacks is highly needed, thank You

Good day everyone, my young bro visa got a denial due to insufficient assets and financial situation, please I need help on how to go about it.

Sorry about this, he can try to apply for GCMS notes to check what really was the VO reason to state he has insufficient funds.

Also regarding his application what are the answers to these?

1 - What Course did he apply for hope it's either trade, stem or health related

2 - Pay Full Tuition or at least First Semster Tuition

3 - Show Sufficient Bank Statement for the $20K CAD Living Expenses and $5K CAD for travel expenses and rest of Tuition if he paid only first semester fee

4 - Also is he self sponsored or has a sponsor, of he has a sponsor what's the relationship between him and sponsor
