I've a Nissan Altima 2012 with a problematic CVT gear. The gear chain cut into 2 thereby making it impossible for the car to move even when gear is shifted to drive. A new chain was installed but it was discovered that the car doesn't move very well when the gear is engaged but it revved very well when in idle. Another gear was mounted with the old gear brainbox and it was discovered that it doesn't change to 2 or 3 or 4, even when it moved very well.

Can a car bad gear brainbox caused a gear not to shift from to 2 or 3 or 4

You mean I should continue with the Mobil of 4k cos the recommended oil is 5W 30w.

[b][/b][i][/i] I bought a Nigerian Used Nissan Maxima, 2004 (Dagreen). The car is working perfectly well but I discovered that the former owner had not been using. Good the right oil for it - W5 W30 but Instead he's been using the regular Mobil oil of 4000 (Xhp I think).

I want to switch to the right oil, please can someone advice me rightly
