Hello everyone,
Please does anyone know what is going on with the Polish embassy? I applied for a visa last month and my collection date was October 9th. Went on the 9th and they asked me to come back on the 16th without giving any reasons. Went back on the 16th, which was yesterday and there were about 30 people waiting. We were informed that there was a backlog and they are dealing with September collection first. Waited until 4pm and I had to leave. Went back by 1pm today and the same thing-many people waiting outside and as at the time I left, they had not attended to anyone. Again, no explanation given whatsoever! It's really unfair of them to treat us like this and expect us to keep checking back everyday. Just wondering if anybody here has an idea of what's going on.

Don't panic, you are experiencing this because of the system error that happened some weeks ago and truly the yesterday collection was for September applicant only and luckily all the scholarship student were given visa other were denied. Note collection is only Tuesday and Thursday and collection starts by 2pm. so please go tomorrow.

That's good bro, I believe you were well prepared and well documented. Where in Poland are you going and what course. You made mention of applying as a minor, does that mean you are below 18? Hope you don't mind me asking. The last time I was there Warsaw was a very nice city and quite safe. If you will be living in Warsaw I can recommend you a nice hostel were a friend of mine lived with lots of local and foreign students. There is a dangerous part of Warsaw that should be avoided and that is Praga. Don't worry you will have lots of fun and girls in Poland. African Restaurant and African shop is also in Warsaw. Obviously its either your intention is to argue with my suggestion or you really didn't get my point. I specifically said MOE and MFA for legalisation of educational documents. Eligibility Letter you mentioned from my experience of those who attended the visa interview was never requested. Since most polish universities can give an extension of time to present the Letter if explained to what the situation is.
Maybe you should make out time and offer possible solutions to those who need it rather than confront someone trying to help.

I have a suggestion that might help regarding the legalisation of documents. When you visit the MOE and MFA don't tell them you are legalising it for the purpose of studying in Poland, choose maybe Czech Republic, same as your birth certificate. Schengen Countries agreement allows you from my experience to use a birth certificate already legalised at a different EU Embassy. Hope that helps.

I see no reason to lie at MFA because of your eligibility letter the address there is for Poland embassy so they will detect .... I have same problem I have authenticate my credentials since February but was in Abuja to authenticate only my testimonial and eligibility letter but I was told same story and my interview is in 2weeks time .

Can i Study with schengen visa in poland because the booking is really though date keep increasing and really running out of time

for anyone going for visa interview soon, please note that the Polish embassy does not accept naira anymore so it's best to get ur visa fee converted to euro........Visa fee is 60 euro and legalization fee 30 euro

2. Make 2 waec and 2 Bsc certificate, coloured copies which u will take the federal ministry of education in Abuja together with the original certificate once ministry of education approval it with their stamp u will take it to ministry of foriegn affair in abuja

This means,

1 waec certified copy will go to centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania while the other certified waec copy will go to the school u want to apply for admission

1 Bsc certified copy will go to centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania while the other certified Bsc copy will go to the school u want to apply for admission

The original transcript from ur university will go to centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania while the other certified transcript copy will go to the school u want to apply for admission attached with the recognition Certificate.

this is the centre for quality assessment IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN LITHUANIA website

Please take note before any university in Lithuania will accept u, u have to go through (centre for quality assessments in higher education)

They are the one to assess your education document, later they will issue u a certificate of recognition.

Higher Education Qualifications (for master student)

For master degree this is the process.

1. U need to download and print the application form for Recognition form in the centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania WEBSITE. http://www.skvc.lt/default/en/60/apply/documentation_requirements and scroll down to see the application form

2. Make 2 waec and 2 Bsc certificate, coloured copies which u will take the federal ministry of education in Abuja together with the original certificate once ministry of education approval it with their stamp u will take it to ministry of foriegn affair in abuja is just oposite of federal ministry of education same place OR AREA.

3. Before number 1 and 2 aspect u need to go to ur school and request a fresh transcript that will be addressed to centre for quality assessments in higher education in lithuania u will see d adress on d application form for Recognition AND THE REQUIREMENT. once u collect the transcript make 1 coloured copy of it. The coloured copy will b taking together with ur waec and Bsc cert cos they will not attend to u without ur transcript.

4. International passport. Please make sure the name u bear on ur international passport is d same name u bear on ur waec and Bsc cert make sure they correspond. On ur international passport it contains 30 pages make copy of the 30 pages of ur passport then take it as well to Nigerian immigration service (NIS) in abuja. once they authenticate ur passport with stamp of NIS on all the 30 pages of ur passport. u will take it to ministry of foriegn affair in abuja.

Pls be aware that this pple in abuja will demand money from u for quite service that's how I did mine BOTH the ministry of education and foriegn affair.


Once u finish doing the CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF UR CERTIFICATE AND INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT. u can go ahead with the feeling of the application form for Recognition. put every required document both the official transcript from ur university in the big envelop and post it.

I recommend u post it through FedEx posting for quick delivery and as soon as it is received by the centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania they will send u a registration number to ur Email address telling u the status of ur application that they have sent a verification to ur school, also asking u to go to ur university and follow up with the verification to avoid any delay.

once ur school aprove the verification with the school stamp bearing (Certified true copy on each of the transcript Year 1,2,3,4) then u have to post it again through FedEx to (Centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania)

The Lithuania education board will not and will never ask u for any money the only thing they will demand from u is ur authentic document.

once it is successful they will issue u a certificate of Recognition which u will use in applying for admission in any Lithuanian university.
