What an abuse of court process, the Judiciary should use this opportunity to redeem herself.

The NJC should recall or dismiss Justice Ariwoola for allowing the Supreme Court to admit El Rufai's suit in the first instance knowing fully well that monetary policy is under the exclusive list and prerogative of the Federal Govt, hence the states Govt lacks loci standi to even claim dispute and approach the court.
If this abuse is allowed to subsist it will spell doom for any future radical policy of the Federal government that can be beneficial to the masses.

What that means is that any state can sue the Federal Govt and get an injunction to frustrate any Federal policy they disagree with despite being on the exclusive list.

Nothing good comes easily, we shall prevail.

There's nothing Honorable about what Justice Olukayode Ariwoola has turn our precious and most respected Supreme Court to...every Tom, Dick and Harry is now insulting and desecrating our Judiciary, just because of one man's ineptitude.

What breaks my heart the most is that Hon. Lawan's judgement was unanimous, that's to tell you how deep the rot and influence has gone.

In similar Supreme Court judgements the court often rules that such erring political party has no candidate in their constituency or state

Other CJNs have come and gone without so much baggage and controversies. Our Judiciary has to be preserved at all cost, one man shouldn't be allowed to destroy it all.

Justice Ariwoola might indeed kill Nigeria, there have never been a more controversial CJN like him.

His political statement in support of the G-5 after sipping some champagne gave him away as Pro APC and these Lawan/Akpabio judgement is the last nail on the coffin.
Therefore, I've no doubt the CJN works for APC

No doubt CBN made some mistakes in implementation of this New naira policy, this is not the first time a new naira is being introduced before elections, though not in dis magnitude.

What I think the CBN and FG can do now is obey the Supreme Court and extend till 15th, Issue an Executive Order on 12th to end circulation of the old notes (200,500 and 1000) on 16th.

If El Rufai is to be believed for once and only 300billion of the new notes was truly printed.

CBN really needs to print at least additional 200billion of the new currency and atleast 500billion of 100naira notes to compliment the cash in circulation.

Anybody that tells you politicians can replace the exact amount they hoarded for vote buying is telling the biggest lies from the pit of hell.

El Rufai lied, no single individual can assess upto 500million of the new currency, it's not possible.
At this very moment, with this level of awareness, If any bank hoards upto 500million it will be noticeable because it's branches will not pay kobo in new notes for days.


The policy has to be modified to accommodate 100naira notes to be paid; 500k for individual and 5m for corporate over the counter per day instead of month, this will reduce the pressure on the new notes by genuine businesses.

Whatever Thiefnibu cannot corrupt he destroys!
