Godx: This is a bit premature as we are just 3 games into the season for a team with little to no pre season games for preparation. The new players we brought in will definitely elevate us once they get use to the system and their fellow players. We can already see how Rodrigo return has stabilized our midfield. Cherki, Donnaruma, Foden, Guardial etc are yet to even get going. I repeat no team will be able to compete with city for the league title once we are in full gear and in top shape. Not Liverpool, Arsenal and definitely not Chelsea who haven't won a league title or finished top 2 in over 7years. That when can be 5 games to the end of the season. |

I think we have missed our chance of qualifying to the world cup because we were not serious from the onset.
The calibre of players we have now don't actually care about playing in the world cup. |

Judging the various teams in the just concluded summer transfer market, I think Liverpool did outstandingly in the window. They got good players that they actually need to boost their team and maintain stability and they are favourites to retain the title.
Arsenal on the other hand, did the most in the market. They actually bought players that they were in dire need of and for the first time, has a better chance of winning the title due to the perfect signings they made.
Manchester city will always be Manchester city but I feel they bought players that are personally good but not collectively known as regards teamwork. They bought players that don't necessarily fit their system if you look at the clubs these players were signed from. For a very long time, we haven't seen Man city being so clueless in games.
My beloved Chelsea is still growing, did very well in the transfer market and considering the PSR, they needed to balance the books and which they did very well and tried to get the necessary players that they actually need to boost their squad. They look young but ready to go judging from recent final performances.
Tottenham Hotspurs surprised me the most in the market, they were fearless and did marvellously. After Arsenal, I think they are the team that did very well in the market and I expect lots of surprises from them this season.
Judging from antecedents in the last five years in the title race, I think it will start from a 3 horse race and narrow down to two. Liverpool obviously defending champions and Arsenal alongside Chelsea will go pound for pound in the race. Man city and Tottenham will be deciders on where the pendulum will swing to. |

Ihebu4chelsea: Kindly rate the Transfer Window. 7/10 for me. I'll rate the transfer 7.5/10 We were able to ship out players and some big names to balance the books. We got some necessary signings in areas we needed though not all but we can beat our chest and say we did well in balancing the books. |

Defence not so dependable
Midfield very ok
Attack perfect.
Attack wins you games defense wins you trophies. How far this season depends on our defence. If the defence can tighten up and concede fewer goals especially to teams that we can dispatch easily. We will go a long way. |

Aaron Anselmino looked calm in the defence, got his passes right too.
Hato a good tackler, put in a good show
Gittens, the 1v1 winger we have clamouring for, very fast and pacy
Estevao Willian very good performance, space for growth in decision making, body balance and how to switch roles.
Gusto played very well, Santos magical and Essugo is learning very fast. |
