PROMOTE THE UNITY OF THE PARTY; BAYELSA STATE GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANT, FESTUS DAUMIEBI SUNDAY URGE FELLOW ASPIRANTS AND THEIR SUPPORTERS! Ahead of April 14th, the day appointed for the gubernatorial primary election to choose the standard flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the political atmosphere in Bayelsa State is beginning to take center stage. Moments of inflamed passion and heightened emotion and sentiments are beginning to run deep. Aspirants and their supporters in the course of their campaign push have began resorting to smear campaigns, aimed at undercutting the virtue of other aspirants and it is capable of putting a wedge between aspirants. This is made worst by the fact that media influencers and social media provocateurs have been recruited to bad-mouth, shame, drag, tear, or completely slander other aspirants and those who do not side with their choice. Agreed that in the vortex of the political industry, throwing dirt at another is expected, the ugly development if not well managed may tear the party down the middle in Bayelsa State. In this regard, Barr. Festus Daumiebi, one of the frontline aspirants for the gubernatorial ticket, has called on fellow aspirants to only promote the spirit of healthy competition and to rein in their supporters. He made the call at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja shortly after receiving his certificate of clearance from the Bayelsa State gubernatorial screening committee. He said as an opposition party in the State, members of the All Progressives Congress cannot afford the luxury of running down each other or tossing hot coal under the seat of one another to whip up bad press rather, this is the time for members to show the world the beauty in their ability to act with decorum and moderation. The gubernatorial hopeful who is contesting on the basis of competence to enthrone a new Bayelsa where everyone will be proud of, went on to add that the party primary is a family exercise from which only one person will emerge at the end of the day. In his view, it is in human nature that competing interests are bound to occur and Party faithfuls can disagree, but no one has the right to bring down the roof or create a division for the opposition to exploit. Everyone should have the overall big picture in sight. After the primary, there is victory to be achieved at the general election and the Party can only triumph if members form a united front. |
Festus Daumiebi Sunday: Against All Odds. In the late 70's in Obodo biri in Fonibiri community, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, a child was born to face the uncertainties of this world. Born to an educational conscious father who was a primary school teacher and a farmer and fishing mother, his early days were not different from a typical ijaw youth in the creeks of Niger Delta. As he grew, he learnt the art of survival from his parents at a tender age. He joined his mother in the fishing, farming and trading business. After school hours, young Festus Daumiebi Sunday always hanged around the jetty, helping traders move their wares from the local boats and he was paid for his efforts. After his primary school, he worked vigorously and steadfastly to save money to go to secondary school as he loves education. At a young age, he loved speaking for people and helping his peers with the little he had. He faced enormous difficulty at home with sometimes no food to eat. With all these uncertainties surrounding him, he was not deterred, he was adamant that he will further his education due to his love for knowledge. He was able to complete his secondary school and obtained his senior school certificate in 2001 against all odds and proceeded to pursue diploma in law in Bayelsa State College Of Arts & Science (BYCAS) in 2001. He was elected as the president of the student union government (SUG) in Bayelsa State College Of Arts & Science (BYCAS) in 2001 due to his penchant for speaking and representing people. He held this position until the National Union Of Bayelsa State Students (NUBSS) was birthed in the institution and he was again elected as the pioneer president. His less privileged background didn't deter him from carving a niche for himself. After his diploma degree, he proceeded to the newly established Niger Delta University (NDU), Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State to study Law. He continued his activism as a comrade with the hatred for oppression and suppression. In 2004 through his instrumentality, the National Union Of Bayelsa State Students (NUBSS) Niger Delta University (NDU) Wilberforce Island was formed and he was inaugurated as the pioneer president from 2004 - 2005. He later became the Senate president in 2005 - 2006. He later became the acting National President of National Union Of Bayelsa State Students (NUBSS) world wide. It is on record that Festus Daumiebi Sunday led hundreds of Bayelsa State students to protest the increase of school fees in the institution and for this protest, he was rusticated for 3 semesters. As a calm and energetic young leader, he didn't engage the management of Niger Delta University in a physical brawl but he showed his dexterity, intelligence and impeccable composure by challenging the rustication placed on him. He mettled this course till he was granted justice. It is on record that he is the first student that took the institution to court and won the case. The present acting chief Judge of Bayelsa State, Justice Mrs Aye Mieye was the presiding judge over that case. During his period of rustication, Festus Daumiebi Sunday founded Daumiebi & Sons (Nig) Ltd in 2006. He later founded DAF Properties Ltd in 2008, Bayelsa State leading property company. In 2016, he co-founded Daumiebi Festus & Associates, a law firm where he presently serve as an associate partner. In 2018, he aspired to represent the good people of Bayelsa Central Senatorial District in the upper chamber of the national assembly. He won the primary and contested the general election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In 2019, he served as the deputy director mobilizations and operations in the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial campaign council for the Bayelsa State gubernatorial election. With all these wealth of experience as a young man, he has once again offered himself for service through the instrumentality of the youths. His burning desire to see a new Bayelsa state gave birth to the New Bayelsa Movement which he is spear heading to become the Governorship flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming coming Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Election. From his antecedents, he has shown that he is a quintessence of grass to grace. |

When both of you are on the grind… If she scales through first, she’ll demand you level-up or she’d bounce If you scale through first and dare demand she levels up or you’d leave, it becomes “after all we’ve been through together, he wants to leave me”. |

You pay a lot of money to a gatekeeper to give you exclusive access to a product everyone wants. The gatekeeper, in a bid to make more, breaks that agreement and secretly gives access to members of the public willing to pay (a fraction of the cost.) |

I have been off for a while on this space due to a lot of activities most especially the consistent bans I receive from mods. I have noticed that many men have fallen by the way side due to lack of proper guidance on the red pill. I appreciate all the good men that are relentless in preaching the gospel of TRP and total masculinity on NL. 2023 will see my infamous TRP slogan and masculinity teachings on this platform. Brace up cos scales will fall off and we will rekindle the masculinity teachings once again. Remember that you are a king. Behave like one. |
