For Mrs Fausat Adeniran, last Sunday would forever remain a day of tragedy that can never be forgotten in her history. In what seems like a movie scene, she lost her precious daughter, Barakat in a fatal accident which also claimed other lives.

The incident which went viral on social media and was widely reported on several credible media outfits was said to have happened at Bode Market in Molete area of Ibadan on Sunday July 4th.

According to the report, the ill-fated tanker suffered a brake failure and overran many traders in the market. Not less than 15 people lost their lives in the accident while many others sustained various degree of injuries and were rushed to the hospital.


Two days after the unfortunate incident, Mrs Adeniran, fondly known as "Iya Ijesha" broke silence in a pathetic tone.

Speaking with Coolstories Correspondent, the bereaved mother narrated how her daughter became a victim of the accident and how she already knew she was going to die before then but kept the secret away from her.

The woman confirmed that traditionalists in the market had told traders to stay away from the market for seven days due to an impending disaster they foresaw. However, her daughter promised her she would help her open her shop so she could sell a few things.

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele has accused Pastor Enoch Adeboye of he Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith and Pastor Williams Kumuyi of causing problems in Christendom in Nigeria.

Primate Ayodele said the hatred, and envy among church leaders in Nigeria started from Adeboye, Kumuyi and Oyedepo.

The cleric made the remark in his church yesterday while reacting to the absence of some top ministers of God during the burial of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, T.B Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN.

T.B Joshua, who died a few weeks ago was buried on Friday within SCOAN premises in Lagos State.

Most of the top pastors in Nigeria distanced themselves from SCOAN during T.B Joshua’s burial.

However, Ayodele said: “When you talk about Christendom, people ask who am I, when did I start, which Christian society do I belong to, is it PFN or not? Me I don’t belong anywhere, I do not have any father in the lord, I was not trained by anybody. I’m just doing things as the Lord directs me so I stand alone.
