Hello house,
Kindly assist. All my degree certificates states 3 of my names, but my passport carries 4 names. E.g Amina Okoro Adeshina, but passport Carries Amina Okoro Taiwo Adeshina. Would I be required to get an affidavit?

Thank you.
Hubbysluv:
School has no business with you coming with your dependant or not so disregard anything anybody is telling you about hiding your dependent.
UK allow student going for Masters to bring their dependents. They encourage that because having your family and spouse around you helps you to concentrate in your studies.

Yes you have to state all your visa refusals. Just answer yes and state the reasons for the refusal.

Thank you.
mimilyrics:
1. Yes, please do. You have to declare all refusals (+ refusal reasons) and visas within the last 10 years preceding your application.

2. Yes, just you.

3. No need to lie. The UKVI rules allow you to apply/travel with your dependents once you're studying a level 7 course (only undergraduates can't travel with their dependants so if you're going for your undergraduate studies, your school is right). Your school can't stop you from travelling with your dependants of you're studying a course at Level 7 and above. All you need to do is show that you have enough funds for you and your dependants.

I would go back and ask why.... UK allows student to apply for their dependents so not sure why a representative will ask you to hide or lie about it

Hello everyone,
I have a few questions I need your opinions on
1) I applied for a visit visa to the UK in 2014 it was denied based on some documents missing, I reapplied 2 weeks later and it was successful- should I state the first refusal during my application?
2) will I as the principal applicant be the only one to take the visa interview? Or my spouse and possibly kids inclusive?
3) I was told not to let the school know I intend travelling with dependents. What do you think?

Thank you so much for your response. University of bedfordshire and Kingston university.

congrats, which school and course?
1) Alagbon, I can give you a police contact .. but I think it's too early for this now.. unless the school has asked that you submit this now, as the police report is only valid for 3 months. If your program is starting in January, it would expire before then and then you would have to do a new one..
2) I believe the school normally does this...confirm from them as it is a UK process, not najia
3) if the school did not ask, don't disturb yourself. often the english requirement is meant by WAEC or getting a letter from your najia school, stating that your studies was done in english. Yet again, please confirm from the UK school their process on this..
