August 29 Received mail that my BRP had been sent

August 31 I received the mail to pick up my passport.

However , you Should be able to read out the address if asked during your interview.

I paid with two Accessbank visa cards. The transactions were $612 for health surcharge and $473 for application. I used my own card and another family members.

You don’t need to include their property documents. It has nothing to do with your application.

Your main address would be your Uni address as you’d be there for most of the two years.

1)My dependents and I are planning to stay with my family for the first 2 weeks on getting to the UK b4 we go settle our accommodation.
On my visa application form I indicated that we will be there for a month, what address should I use for where else we wld be living in the UK? I'm going for a 2 years course.


2) Someone suggested attaching my families mortgage and utility documents in the UK to our applications. Is that really necessary?

You need to have a verve card to able to use paga. Also open a paga account, then link your paga account to your naira verve card at the wallet section. Paga has best rate you can find. I guess around 380 to a dollar

For those who used PayPal or paga to pay for VISA and IHS FEES please can you put me through on how you did it and the rate you were charged per dollar? I am paying for 4 people so I'm hoping to use the service with the cheapest rate.

please how can i delete and old application i started last month without imputing my cas?

@mimilyrics, is it advisable to let the ECO know that we will be applying together but i would prefer going for the first 2 weeks as i will be staying with family, then they come 2 weeks afterwhich i would have sorted our accommodation?

mimilyrics:
1. Does the scholarship cover your tuition and maintenance? If it does, you don't need your bank statement but if it covers just your tuition, you'd need to show your maintenance in your bank account for 28 days before applying.

3. This is dependant on your personal preference. Does the scholarship cover your dependants? If the school is sponsoring your accomodation, will it suitable for your family? Would you like to settle in before you bring them over or would you rather you settle in together? The answer to this will guide you on when you'd like them to apply.
If you go with them, you'd be paying a little extra for your temporary accommodation (hotel / AirBnB) but you will have company to help with home sickness and if you don't, it means that you don't have to worry about the stress of house hunting and the initial settling in period on them. That way when they come to the UK, there's ready accommodation and settling-in information for them.
I'd advice that they apply after you settle in (to reduce the stress of settling in) but that's advice based on my own preference. You can choose to apply together and navigate settling in the UK as a family.

4. I'm not sure I quite understand this. Put in place as per documents or UK accomodation / school arrangements for your kids?

As far as I know, no. As long as the money has been held for 28 days before your application as stipulated by UKVI, you're good.

With regards to question 1: Will i be asked to show proof of my husbands financials , source of funds or payslip??

1. It doesn't matter who paid your fees. Under the T4 rules, if you aren't sponsoring yourself, your parents are the only family who can sponsor you and even though other family members can actually give you money for this, they don't count as sponsors.
If you're asked for the source of money in your accounts simply state that your husband gave you which is true.

You might also be asked if you have any friends and family in the UK; you'd have to say the truth about this so that it doesn't affect your future applications as you'd be asked to state all family member within and outside the UK depending on what your subsequent applications will be.
2. Give the address and explain that you'd be moving from there as soon as you rent a place. You might or might not be asked about the kind of accomodation options you are exploring for when you move.

3. I think those are okay except you've got other documents that can strengthen your application.
You don't need the WhatsApp/FB messages if you and your spouse have not had any periods of living apart within the last 2 years.

Please i have a few questions that i would really like to ask the house on how to answer these question:

1) The question who is sponsoring you?My elder brother in the UK paid my full tuition fees but my husband sent the total living expenses for 4 of us to my account. My school stated that i should mention that its my husband that is sponsoring me (something about not wanting to show that i have someone in the uk). Could this be an issue during the visa interview?

2) We intend to stay with my brother for the 2 weeks quarantine then look for a place closer to school as the landlord we called are asking for my BRP and visa which i dont have yet. How should i answer the question where do you intend to stay in the UK?

3) The documents we have now are: Int'll passports, TB certs, Marriage Cert, NPC Birth Certs for the kids, my personal bank statement, Our rent receipts here in Nigeria, Tenancy Agreement, Photos, Whatsapp/FB messages. Please what other document do i need to upload?

Yes you can. But make sure you have an evidence of your top up payment so that you can include it with your supporting documents. This is a good idea if the exchange rate goes higher than your budget, instead of awaiting rate to fall or paying up to wait another 28days.

Yes you are filling the right form,all you need to do is to filling in your UK school address. The address and postcode should be on your offer letter

Please when I was filling the form to book a test at IOM , I was asked to fill in my uk address, postcode and number on the 3rd form ? Am I using the right form pls.

1) Please who has details on who can help me with he police check in panti, and a cost estimate?

2) Will my spouse need to have a police report as well if he intends to work full time in the uk?

As long as your first name is on there and your surname is the same, there is nothing to worry about.
