princefemo01:This isn't true please. I got 297 in GRE, finished with a 2.78 on a scale of 5 which is a 2-2, and I still got full funding. We have been told several times it is not based on GRE alone, they look at the whole package. I don't have a single publication but I had an interview with the staff that gave me funding and I packaged myself well and aligned my research interests with hers. That is all that matters. Getting a high score in GRE and having no similar interest with any faculty may not get you anywhere. |
In addition, your under grad course should also be same as your proposed PhD field. If not, you should have work experience in your proposed PhD field. If you have same under grad, work experience and proposed PhD course, it makes your profile better. Also, before you apply, go through faculty lists and mail professors with similar research interests. Time consuming but It would help. author=Hybeesalau post=103123610]Get a 310+ score on gre(not compulsory but the higher the better), good undergrad transcript (better 80% above), publications if possible, strong recommendation letters, and submit a well articulated statement of purpose. Apply to at least 8 schools with your research interest, With that you'll be fine.
|

Same thing happened to me when my son was about 3/4 months old. I noticed he wasn't getting that round pot belly after eating and i tried to pump but what i got from both breasts was what i wld get from one breast after pumping for 5mins so i was forced to buy formula sma gold to be specific then i worked on myself ..hot tea, amala, hot pap, etc. I gave him the milk for 3 meals and my milk flow returned to normal. rezzy: |
