elengine:there are two ways to do these art works, and I will show you, but please, follow the details carefully, we have precast and direct designs. Precast are design from the floor with moulder then hang to either the windows, parapet, wall belt, angle e.t.c, precast in the second picture, but in this Case, this for parapet, but the same way, the window hood, belt, and Angle, e.t.c will be done in precast. Direct window hood in the first picture, picture don't lie, I believe you understand. They are aesthetic beautification of the exterior or interior of house or building, with pure cement and little sands. 1. Window hood 2. Angle Designs 3. educhigo:I need to clear you in some accept, ALU zinc is different from metcoppo aluminum, alu zinc aluminum is usually corrugated in form of long span and they are usually ready made corrugated from factory, while metcoppo is normally corrugated base on the cutting list provide at the factory after measuring the roofing carcass. Back to the color if you buy your aluminum where they sell good quality oven baked you have 50 years warranty without the color fading, be it black, red, cream, wine, green e.t.c, it wont fade away. The truth is that calculating the roofing sheets is not the same with calculating the woods for wooden carcass framing, the best option and professional way to get accurate measurement on roofing sheet is to measure the physical wooden roofing carcass, so you can get all the listed point below accurately for stepped tiles, metcopo, long span. Also note that you can try your best to get all these but may not be accurate, if you have a well detail roof plan drawing with full dimensions, but the problem always is that drawings are easily and always alter on physical construction when interpret on site. 1. Ridges 2. The varies length of the roofing sheets. 3.Gutters 4. Eave angle 5. Bottom Angle 6. Wall trimmer 7. Facial Cladding ( for building without parapet) 8. Bottom Cladding. All these different section of the roofing sheets will be need to be physically measure Apart from going through the physical measurement for this, Nobody can get accurate measurement, we can only estimate, plus or minus, so you can have ideal of how much it will cost, because i have done roofing carcass and covering for several projects same like your building measurement, but you need to specific the gauge you are using, 0.55mm or 0.45mm gauge stepped tiles, So I can try to give you estimate of the cost of the roofing sheets. |

gurunlocker:what is the length and breath of the building, so i can openly give you a quote here that will be justify and fit your budget. If you can post your roof plan, it will be great for analysis and accuracy. Points that matter to consider. 1. Do you have parapet on the building? If you have parapet on the building, it will reduce the numbers of woods to be use and cost of capentry. 2.You have choosing stepped tiles, that is good, 2x3x12 woods will also reduce, because stone coated roofing sheets use more woods compare to stepped tiles. 3.The height of the king post you choose to use for the roofing carcass, will also determine the overall cost of roofing and covering, because it will increase or decrease the materials to be use. 4. The ceiling noggin spacing, if you are installing pop ceilng in the family lounge, and the rooms, and toilets, the ceiling noggin spacing is 2ft by 2ft, and it use more of 2x2x12 woods, compare to the pvc that use 2ft by 4ft ceiling noggin spacing.
